I hate waiting for the evening for the draft to start

making millions of dollars off advertisements!

3 days with only round 1 tonight is no fun.

My buddy moved to Florida and for a couple of years I went down to visit him and we drank beers all day while watching all 7 rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

Even though the marathon weekend was nostalgic, at this stage of my life I can't justify spending 18 hours of a weekend in front of the TV. Getting the important part of the draft completed by the weekend is really nice, then Saturday I'm playing with house money. If I'm free, I can park myself on the couch all day, but if I'm pulled away, I don't feel like I missed anything significant.

Dude makes Gary Bettman look good in comparison.

Miss those days

... I fell in love with the draft when it was a Sat/Sun thing. Especially that day 1, Saturday afternoon, don't have to work (or study for) tomorrow feeling.

You can sleep in. Pick up some food. Whatever. And then the draft is in the background all day.

A couple years in a row my bud's and I got together and grilled out in backyard. We'd alternate from watching the draft, to cooking and eating, to drinking beer, to maybe playing a game or two of croquet or whatever. It was perfect.

Now I fall asleep sometime in the middle of the first round, and can't really focus on or savor the experience.

Such is life... {sigh}

Get to pick 10 and then I assume I have nothing more to watch for tonight. Used to be a day long event over the grill.

and now the draft isn't here. smh

I follow the draft tracker on my phone and then check for detailed info on the Giants picks. I can't stand the talking heads.

I prefer the two day weekend draft .
With say 10 rounds . You can secure more UDFA's .

totally agree would order large pizza Mushroom,Peperoni and Hamburger. Also small Roast beef grinder heated and would watch start to finish with a friend of mine. Wife was not a big fan :)

Is that the modern era Giants won't leave you waiting too far into the draft for their pick!

It was the best day of the off season.

Get home from work. Watch the draft. Listen to sports radio in the morning, which we didn't have before.

Love this even more, mainly due to more time(in between rounds) to discuss first two days choices

Rams, Eagles, and Chargers all wait the full time to make their picks, I'm going to kick their fans in the nuts anytime I see them.

They should hold it in Vegas.

Goodell will probably want to hold it in London sometime soon.
