Since the overwhelming majority of BBIers that ventured a guess on our first pick officially on the jlukes thread picked Myles Jack who is no longer an option for the Giants, I'm feeling no pressure here.
1- Rams - Carson Wentz - I refuse to believe that Jeff Fisher will choose the lesser QB to sell tickets the first year. Goff is not that big of a draw. Wentz is a dual threat QB which makes him a better fit into what Fisher has done in past drafts.
2 - Eagles - Jared Goff - glad the Eagles didn't get Wentz
3 -Chargers - Laremy Tunsil - Chargers O line was horrible, thanks to the Titans they get a pro bowl tackle.
4 -Cowboys - Jalen Ramsey - pretty much a lock here since either Goff or Wentz is no longer available. Cowboys aren't going to waste a pick on a RB, too many holes to fill.
5 - Jaguars - Myles Jack - they thought about it, decided not to, changed their mind, thought about it again, time running out, aw what the hell, WE'LL DO IT!
6 - Ravens - DeForrest Buckner - he was always their pick, mean, nasty, beats people up for fun. Fits very nicely here.
7 - 49ers - Connor Cook - Cook has been their QB of choice in the draft, meets more of the "Parcells Rules" than any other QB in the draft, the question was, when can they get him? With the Eagles holding on tightly to Bradford and Kaepernick likely to be traded in the next day or two and the Jets most likely to take Cook at 20, San Fran needs to grab Chip Kelly's QB now.
8 - Browns - Paxton Lynch - they want him, they need him, they may trade down to 12 with Miami so the Dolphins can grab Elliot, then they'll take him at 12.
9 - Buccaneers - Leonard Floyd - Giants fans react louder to this pick than the next one.
10 - Giants - Ronnie Stanley - I know, boring but much needed, OL is the most important piece right now. Really like Conklin here if Stanley is taken by San Fran if they decide not to reach for Cook.
11 - Bears - really don't care, I just switched to the Braves/Red Sox game and I'm pretty sick of mock drafts myself. Too much football in April and I haven't seen a pitch all night, back to baseball.
No I didn't forget about Joey Bosa, I think he is this year's surprise drop like a rock player. Raiders are very happy to take him at 14.
Wentz is the QB for the future. Fisher has drafted Steve McNair and Vince Young. Aaron Rodgers, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, Winston, Mariota, all mobile QBs. Times have changed, the QB has to be able to run. There's no way I'm going to believe Fisher sells out. What if Goff sucks? They sold a few tickets and are in the same boat all over again. It's got to be Wentz.
Depends on SF and Cook ( as stated above), I think Paxton Lynch is pretty much a sure bet to go to Cleveland.

of Goff despite knowing Kroenke's history..Fisher only survived because of this move for continuity purposes, otherwise he's gone after this year, imo

Again, it's NOT about Fisher..It's about Kroenke and PR..It is not possible for Kroenke to pass on Goff, imho
Because he's too slow to get to the QB and not strong enough to stop the run with a 300lb lineman on his shoulder at an elite level. He's not a bad player but not worth a 10 pick over Eli's protection and establishing a running game. If we take Bosa I'm OK with it but think we need to finish the offense then work on the defense.

Tastes Great!
It's about the better QB for the future of the franchise. I was born at night but it wasn't last night. I understand the reasoning behind Goff, I just think that given the choice of a dual threat QB and a pocket passer, you have to take the mobile QB. There aren't any Bradys or Elis out there. Mobile is new normal in the NFL.
My guess is the guy likes drugs - hard drugs and teams are worried.
Several pundits on NFL channel now saying he'll go at #3 to SD over Tunsil.
If Stanley's there at 10, he's the pick, save your money.

We could let Coughlin baby sit him, he's got nothing to do!
Yeah, I've heard about the party guy rumors, that could certainly add to the lack of interest but I believe Bosa is overrated, good player to have, just not at 10.
I could see Bosa dropping if the party concerns are legit, but I can't see BOTH Boas and Elliott dropping out of the top 10.
Wentz
Buckner
Ramsey
Bosa
Tunsil
Stanley
Elliott
Floyd
Conklin
Wentz
Buckner

Bosa
Tunsil
Stanley
Elliott
Floyd
Conklin
I wouldn't argue that prediction, could very well go exactly in that order. You must have Miami moving up for Elliot though, right? Can't see Cleveland going after Elliot.
Cook may not go in the first, he's a reach but from what I've read he's the 9ers guy and fits Kelly's system the best of the top 4 QBs. Cleveland is likely to draft Lynch, reports on Lynch have all been positive for the past 10 days. The Jets or Denver won't let him get out of the first round.
With Fitzpatrick holding out and Denver looking for either Kaepernick or Bradford but making no progress, I'd say the chance of Lynch not being drafted in the first are extremely slim.
Who are you and what's your point?
I'd prefer you started a fish pun thread because it's highly doubtful you could actually post a mock for 2017. You're no Old Dirty Beckham.

Mock them all you want. I spent 5 minutes on them. But I did have Goff to the Rams though, aka the worst kept secret of the draft outside of the Giants interest in Floyd.
You're up 2-0
Anybody got any right yet besides the 2QBs?
