if the Giants don't draft an OL in round 1 and do what many here feel would be fiscally prudent and wait until day 2-3 to draft that OL, if that OL develops into a stud, something we all want, that stud is still going to get paid 4-5 years from now. The same 4-5 years from now that would see the first rounder get paid.
It won't matter when the guy is drafted. He's gonna get his 5 years from now regardless. And The Giants would still have staggered all of the OL picks. Pugh is due in 2 years. Richburg in 3 years. Flower in 4 years...this year's guy 5 in years. See? All is well.
NYG doctors would have to clear him before investing a draft pick in him, not rely on groupthink. I don't know if that is the case.
So you want to hear it directly from Dr. Warren and Dr. Rodeo yourself.. lol got it.
Since they make the actual decisions, and that's whom the brass employs, yes.
The #1 reason for the combine is the medical checks. MRI's are done and some players end up getting flagged by NFL team doctors. Then they have the medical rechecks. MRI's are once again done and then compared to the last MRI. Shaq Lawson was cleared by the SAME NFL team doctors that flagged him.
So, to be clear, you want to believe the NFL team doctors the first time around but not the second.

You sound like a lawyer misrepresenting what I said, which is I want NYG doctors to clear any player they're considering investing in. Passing a re-check is fine and noted, but it's not good enough, it's potentially incomplete groupthink.

Well Jon you claim you have an inside source, why don't you check with them in regards to Lawson..
Lol however what you said is clear, you want to directly hear it from the Giants doctors instead of assuming they were among the group of NFL team doctors that cleared him.
What I'm saying is you heard his shoulder was flagged from the same source the rest of us did and that was at the combine from NFL team doctors. What I'm failing to understand is why were they good enough the first time, at the combine, but not the second at the rechecks.. All sounds kind of funny doesn't it?
So you want to hear it directly from Dr. Warren and Dr. Rodeo yourself.. lol got it.
