1) DT A'Shawn Robinson of Alabama
2) DE Kevin Dodd of Clemson
3) DT Chris Jones of Mississippi State
4) DE Emmanuel Ogbah of Oklahoma State
5) DE Noah Spence of Eastern Kentucky
6) WR Michael Thomas of Ohio State
7) WR Sterling Shepard of Oklahoma
They all offer MAJOR upside. Each guy does not only offer starting potential down the road, IMO, but each one could make a big time impact in the NFL. I think we're fine at D-Line personally, but I'm a big advocate of taking the best player available and it happens to be that the top 5 guys on my board are all D-Linemen.
Robinson is an absolute beast who needs to be a better pass-rusher but all the tools are there and he's only 21. Major upside.
Same with Dodd. Dodd is 23, but the guy has major potential. He came on really strong towards the end of the year and some had him ranked ahead of Shaq Lawson. He's a hard-worker and a relentless player with a ton of talent.
Chris Jones has off-the-field issues and is VERY inconsistent but when he's on his game, there aren't many players better than him. He has fantastic measurables and fantastic potential.
And Ogbah and Spence have been talked about.
But I also LOVE Michael Thomas and Sterling Shepard. I thought all seven guys would be taken somewhere in the first round.

very exciting 2nd round.
If we get Jack then maybe I can live with Apple (maybe) Â
We do need another DE, WR, and OT with our next three picks. Problem is the DT's should have the best value. With Snacks, Hankins and Bromley we should be OK (since we dress only 3-4 each week). Have to go:
Dodd, Spence, O-bah, Shepard, Springs
Ragland - (did a late medical come up on him?) heart?
Jack is a longevity risk, but likely can have an impact immediately. I say go for it. Hunter Henry also is interesting. I know as fans, we like our undrafted overachieving TEs, but it might make sense to finally invest in the position.
I had him going to the Giants in round three of my mock draft, but he could come off the board in round two. I think the Colts met with him late in the draft process. He has has the “length,” and “athleticism” Reese craves. Round two would be another reach IMO, but I could see it happening.
we're gonna have a choice of really good players at 40 Â
Your lips to Reese's ears. I would also consider Jack as well. But if it isnt Jack - it has to be an offensive weapon. Not really sold on Henry from Bama though.
One of the draft pundits talked about Jarran Reed like he was the Second Coming. It was hilarious. I think A'Shawn Robinson is a better fit for the Giants than Reed and he's my #1 available player right now. I would love if he fell to 40 and if we took him even though DT isn't a need. #BPA
Yes - Boylhart had Reed as his #1 player in the draft.
STRENGTHS Flat-running stud as a run blocker and a big part of Arkansas' running game success. Strikes into the frame of defenders with inside hands and blocks with a wide, strong base. Able to turn outside linebackers and cornerbacks out of their run fits and sustains his blocks as long as he can. Had no drops and 51 catches this season. Able to secure contested catches and eminent hits won't scare him away from the catch. Able to work all three levels as a go-to target. Too talented to be covered by most linebackers. Able to run a variety of routes and has no reason to leave the field.
WEAKNESSES Don't need much space for this section. Can get a little grabby as a run blocker and was penalized for three holding calls in 2015. Is a little upright into his breaks with rounded turns over sharp cuts. Is a little labored when adjusting his routes to traffic.

as much as we have holes I could
see us taking Robinson . I think he would
be rated better than any WR's or OT left
Take Henry Hunter for the same reason .
Probably both gone before we pick .
At this point, I want Jordan and the rest of the beat writers to STFU about who the Giants like. I doubt Henry last 10 picks anyway as the clear cut best TE in the draft.
Jack would be great but I'd love Henry as well. So much talent left it seems they can't really mess this one up.
The RB Henry or TE. If the select RB Henry in the 2nd, I will officially throw the remote. There are way too many good players to be had in 10 picks to fill needs. I'd love any DL position, OT/G, WR. I believe they address one of these three positions.
Tune in to see each of these get picked before our turn:
OT Jason Spriggs
WR Sterling Shepard
TE Hunter Henry
DE Emmanuel Ogbah
DT Jarran Reed
LB Reggie Ragland
OG Codey Whitehair
And likely off the Giants' board for one more round: LB Myles Jack

The Tight End. Find another running back after the draft is over...
Myles Jack is the wildcard obviously. Him and Jaylon Smith. We'll see where they go. If the Giants are comfortable with either one of them, they should roll the dice.
As for my list, here's my top 10 remaining players for the Football Giants (in order):
1) DT A'Shawn Robinson of Alabama
2) DE Kevin Dodd of Clemson
3) DT Chris Jones of Mississippi State
4) DE Emmanuel Ogbah of Oklahoma State
5) DE Noah Spence of Eastern Kentucky
6) WR Michael Thomas of Ohio State
7) WR Sterling Shepard of Oklahoma
8) TE Hunter Henry of Arkansas
9) OG Cody Whitehair of Kansas State
10) DT Andrew Billings of Baylor
This is a great list, although I disagree with the order (to the extent that I might actually flip the whole thing in reverse). The names are the right ones though, IMO.
TE Hunter Henry- best prospect since Gronk
RT Le'Raven Clark- Fluker type physical freak with better feet
WR Tyler Boyd- underrated by most, incredible hands
Su'a Cravens- instinctive get off, natural disruptor
DE Emanuel Ogbah- impressive production while garnering double teams
Brilliant, let's go ahead and cut two of our safeties returning from IR last season. I am hoping the Giants steer clear of bringing in any new safeties unless it's a UDFA.
Alot of D line still available and would be happy with many, Â

Yup. Have to think he's their top guy, which I'm totally fine with.
Otherwise I like Shepard as a lot of others do and I'd be fine with a DL too if a guy like Ogbah or Dodd or Reed is there.
Not in love with the LBs or S there right now.
