I was a bit surprised by the pick at 10 but

a third corner is important. I don't know if Eli Apple was the best corner on the board or even the best player not named Jack or Tunsil. It was hardly an ideal situation the way things broke with Jack and Tunsil. If the doctors gave the thumbs down on Jack and Mara gave the thumbs down on Tunsil, Reece was a bit painted into a corner. Reece said he took a pass on an offer to trade down, didn't like it. Who knows how far down he would have had to go. Hard to judge that without more info. Someone said that Reece has a good history with first round picks that appear to be a bit of a reach. Eli Apple is a Giant now and its time for me to get happy with the pick and find reasons to embrace it. Thats what I intend to do. Please post any positive thoughts about the Giants first round pick.
