No doubt Eli Apple was once an Eagle fan and his family too. No more though, they will learn to hate the Eagles.
LOL, what poster was it that said he and his son couldn't root for Collins because he grew up a Sean Taylor fan and is wearing Taylor's number in honor of him?
ESPN Rosenberg said he would disown his son if he was drafted by
I'm in. I was floored that we passed on several guys but after reading more BS about some of the ills of those prospects I'll take it. Reach? Maybe but projecting him as a 20 year old Sophomore maybe the value looks better in a year or two. If he goes back to OSU maybe he's top 5 material next year.
I'm glad you're back dude. I have to say, I cocked an eyebrow when we picked him simply because nobody really talked about it.
But I asked about Apple at 10 several times on this board and it made me really really intrigued. In addition to his being very young, and physically gifted, he is also great insurance for DRC. When you think about it, this could be the last year for DRC. While I hope it's not because I would like him for another year especially to help groom Apple. But DRC costs us 8.5 million against the cap. If we're talking about resigning some of our younger guys like Pugh and Hank, having a cost controlled option who might become an elite quarterback is a lot more attractive to me than Floyd or Tunsil.

but feels like we could have got him a few picks later.
We are -1 pick maybe we could have picked up something.
I've seen it mentioned a few times that teams were all over him and had him high on their board. Sounds like he wouldn't have made it past 13 or even 12. Solid pick. Good young athletic kid with great attitude and upside. First thing that I thought was why didn't we trade back. And then it sort of all makes sense now. Giants stuck to their board. I think Giants fans will be very happy with the pick in a couple years especially.
He is 20!!! That is young and great for Giants. He will be 24 when his first four-year contract is up.
I look forward to working against @EliApple13 daily! Welcome to the @Giants. #IronSharpensIron #NFLDraft2016
She couldn't have been that much of a fan as she called Michael Irvin a Running Back, on the red carpet yesterday....LOL

but other than that, we have no problems.

You should check out her blog. She writes very well and the articles are very entertaining.
Annie, if you're reading this, you must join BBI for comic relief.

Do you mean Dave Rothenberg?
If so, that guy is a tool. Lousy host, claims to be a huge Giant fan, but I heard him once say that Howard Cross won two Super Bowls as a Giant.

Mind me asking how do you know this?
