1) JPP playing Over JPP on IR
2) Vernon Over Ayers
3) Snacks Over Jenkins
4) Jenkins Over Prince
5) Apple Over Wade/McBridge/Hosley
This Defense goes from being a laughing stock to at least being competitive.
This doesn't even factor in the what if's. A string of what if's never actually all happen. But there are a lot you can dream up for the defense regarding the rest of the roster.
Time to invest in Offense. There are fewer What if cards (Cruz/Hart?) play and no actual upgrades.
The defense has added a healthy JPP, Berhe, Jackson, Hankins to go along with Vernon, Harrison, Jenkins, Apple, and Robinson. There is more talent on defense than the Giants have had in a while.
Yep, we still have work to do with the LineBackers and Safeties, but progress has certainly been made.
Spags has no excuses. His resume in recent years has quite frankly been pathetic. But he has legit assets on that side of the ball to play with now, can't wait to see it.
Hanlon better then injured Hankins
Kennard better then Kennard replacement
Hanlon better then injured Hankins
Pat is really working on his game
I think the upgrade has been from horrific to shaky. Still no pass rushers that scare anyone.

Any improvement in that number will make the back 7 look a lot better. Thomas and Casillas are good tacklers. So is Colllins.
Having to literally keep coverage longer than any back 7 in the NFL was the main problem.
We only had Thomas and Cassilas for 1 year. Kennard dealt with injury again last year. We just signed 2 ILB's, Collins is starting his 2nd year, Mykkele Thompson is healthy (keep your fingers crossed) and Taylor Cooper is still healthy. It isn't all bad!
My concern as well... That kind of mugging wont fly in the NFL -
