ANother reason I'm liking the pick more and more is all the talking heads bashing Apple while reports from scouts and people in war rooms say he was the best CB in the draft and expected him to go around where he did.
Wrong , CB was a need. Or did you want to see Trevin Wade starting ?
They're not really bashing him. He's just not an impact player and the Giants had more important needs.
I didn't want to have to root against Smith. Hope he gets healthy and is able to play... but now I hope he does little to nothing for Dallas while being healthy.
