I've been following the Giants for a long time, and every year that
SB 42 and 46 and ? : 4/29/2016 8:08 pm : link
they have the same record as another team or teams and have to alternate picks in each round, the Giants always get the worst pick in the first round.

It must be written in the NFL Constitution or something.
I'd love to see any of these guys

BEST remaining Giant scheme fits
Coach Mason : 4/29/2016 8:15 pm : link
DL
Bronson Kaufusi - If we dont go edge rusher round 1. This years Preston Smith (DE size/arm length/strength/triangle # combination Giants love from their DE's- 11 sacks/20 TFLS in 13 games last year)

*Jonathan Bullard- not as amazing measurables as Kaufusi but pretty darn good across the baord as well. Amazing/explosive first step. Not a ton of sacks but coming to his own and quite possibly a double digit sack guy in the pros.

*Carl Nassib- Excellent measurables and also coming to his own. Giant prototype DE/DT on passing downs hybrid player

OT
Jason Spriggs- former TE,athletic LT versatility
Cody Whitehair
S
Vonn Bell/Sean Davis/Justin Simmons/TJ Green- hoping 1 of these 4 make round 3

I think there is a lot to that Davis trade. It's apparently toxic out there in the bay area.
This round will be an OL
gmenrule : 4/29/2016 8:18 pm : link
followed by a DT in round 4.
Doing this for myself more than you, guys
Anakim : 4/29/2016 8:18 pm : link
1) OG Cody Whitehair of Kansas State
2) DT Andrew Billings of Baylor
3) DL Jon Bullard of Florida
4) WLB Su'a Cravens of USC
5) OT LeRaven Clark of Texas Tech
6) FS Sean Davis of Maryland

Get some talent at Lber please!!!!!
We
AcidTest : 4/29/2016 8:23 pm : link
still have two fundamental problems: We have nobody to cover TEs, and the right side of the OL is a sieve. Jones, or maybe Fackrell, would solve the first problem. There really is nobody to solve the second problem, at least in 2016. All the tackles left need a year of seasoning, including Spriggs, Benenoch, and Hawkins.

I don't. I think they like their young group. And I think Thompson may surprise some. Before his injury he was having a good camp.
In order
est1986 : 4/29/2016 8:45 pm : link
Vonn Bell
Kyler Fackrell
Cody Whitehair
Sean Davis
Mackenzie Alexander
Su'a Cravens

Have to admit I'm bummed we couldn't grab Jaylon or Myles but Sterling could be a better pro than both and the odds are actually with him.

goes Whitehair. Guard in the NFL. Better, stronger, version of Pugh. Short arms, but very large hands. Fundamentally sound. Excellent pick by the Bears.
With Whitehair gone

Some really good talent fits for Gmen hanging in there
Coach Mason : 4/29/2016 9:13 pm : link
DL
Bronson Kaufusi - This years Preston Smith (Size/arm length/strength/triangle # combination Giants love from their DE's- 11 sacks/20 TFLS in 13 games last year, 5 blocked kicks in career too)

OT/OG
Shon Coleman
Kyle Murphy

RB
Kenneth Dixon- Marshall Faulk lite my favorite RB in this draft outside of EE

TE
Nick Vannett-another potential high level 2 way TE few are talking about

FS (all guys who would complement Collins very well)

I think Beckham is the most special Giants player since LT. But his talent is going to be totally wasted unless they surround him with some real talent. I'm figuring Cruz is done and will never be the same player. I love Shepard. And I would have loved Boyd. Beckham-Shepard-Boyd would have done more to upgrade this team than anything I can think of (although a great TE could do almost as much to help Beckham as a 3rd WR).

Point remains - you get a once in a decade player like Beckham, you need to spend some resources surrounding him with talent so that he is free to do his thing. LT wouldn't have been LT without Carson and Banks. Same goes for Beckham.

That's why they're allowed to trade like New Orleans just did. Probably would have been worth it to give up the fourth to secure Bell.
My best available:
Anakim : 4/29/2016 9:32 pm : link
1) DT Andrew Billings of Baylor
2) DL Jon Bullard of Florida
3) OT LeRaven Clark of Texas Tech
4) FS Justin Simmons of Boston College
5) OT Shon Coleman of Auburn
6)

Kendall Fuller is the ultimate wildcard. I think he's a top-15 talent and the second CB in this draft behind Hargreaves III but that injury is scary
Safety
Marty866b : 4/29/2016 9:32 pm : link
I don't believe we go safety now in the third round. I look for Perry,or a lineman on defense or an o-lineman. We should still get a good player.

DL
Bronson Kaufusi - This years Preston Smith (Size/arm length/strength/triangle # combination Giants love from their DE's- 11 sacks/20 TFLS in 13 games last year, 5 blocked kicks in career too)

Jonathan Bullard- not as amazing measurables as Kaufusi but pretty darn good across the board as well. Amazing/explosive first step. Not a ton of sacks but coming to his own and quite possibly a double digit sack guy in the pros.

OT/OG
Shon Coleman
Kyle Murphy

RB
Kenneth Dixon- Marshall Faulk lite my favorite RB in this draft outside of EE

TE
Nick Vannett-another potential high level 2 way TE few are talking about

FS ( who would complement Collins very well)
Justin Simmons

Kaufusi,Simmons,Dixon all would be great choices.

Find a way to get Billings
geelabee : 4/29/2016 10:06 pm : link
The rest of the draft picks now for Billings and this is an A+ draft
Nassib I would have

loved.
I wouldn't mind if we traded back into the third round for LeRaven

Hackenberg is a WTF pick though and without a QB, they're going nowhere
Fish pick Carroo

Penn State was a mess. He did not develop as expected but has tool as goodas any QB in his draft.
Nobody

wants Connor Cook or Andrew Billings.
6 Notre Dame players taken in the top 3 rounds

Penn State was a mess and he got ruined there after O'Brien left. He looked good with O'Brien as a freshman but completely lost any semblance of being a good NFL QB when he got saddled with James Franklin.

He needs one, possibly two years holding a clipboard before he can even be thought of as a possibility as an NFL QB, just to clear his head and pick up the speed of the NFL game. He had big-time trouble identifying blitzes in college so how is he going to do that in the NFL
Cody Kessler?

In the 3rd round? I'm a USC guy and I thought there was a chance he wouldn't be selected in the entire draft. He's put up good numbers but he's had GREAT receivers to throw to. He lacks arm strength,is an average athlete,at best, holds the ball too long and is the king of the check down. I'm shocked. Cleveland picked him over Cook. I'm shocked!
Pats just drafted a guy named Vincent Valentine.
