still have two fundamental problems: We have nobody to cover TEs, and the right side of the OL is a sieve. Jones, or maybe Fackrell, would solve the first problem. There really is nobody to solve the second problem, at least in 2016. All the tackles left need a year of seasoning, including Spriggs, Benenoch, and Hawkins.

Truth be told, with the depth we have for this year, and next years crop of running backs that are supposed to be sensational, I'd much rather wait at this point.
goes Whitehair. Guard in the NFL. Better, stronger, version of Pugh. Short arms, but very large hands. Fundamentally sound. Excellent pick by the Bears.

huh are you watching the draft? they just took a WR lol
I think Beckham is the most special Giants player since LT. But his talent is going to be totally wasted unless they surround him with some real talent. I'm figuring Cruz is done and will never be the same player. I love Shepard. And I would have loved Boyd. Beckham-Shepard-Boyd would have done more to upgrade this team than anything I can think of (although a great TE could do almost as much to help Beckham as a 3rd WR).
Point remains - you get a once in a decade player like Beckham, you need to spend some resources surrounding him with talent so that he is free to do his thing. LT wouldn't have been LT without Carson and Banks. Same goes for Beckham.
1) DT Andrew Billings of Baylor
2) DL Jon Bullard of Florida
3) OT LeRaven Clark of Texas Tech
4) FS Justin Simmons of Boston College
5) OT Shon Coleman of Auburn
6)
Kendall Fuller is the ultimate wildcard. I think he's a top-15 talent and the second CB in this draft behind Hargreaves III but that injury is scary
Does anyone think we would have taken him? 3 times already teams have traded up in front of us. Im happy with shepherd. I actually wanted Spence though, so at the time I was so annoyed to see another team trade up and loose him.
RE: I think Clark has to be the pick if he's there
Good height, for a guy his weight he's supposed to be able to cover well. But he's slow for a pass rusher and his bench is pretty feeble compared to the WR we just drafted who weighs close to 50 pounds less.
If a guy is 6'5" 250 can NFL weight training always make him strong?

I think his frame is maxed out, and he tore an ACL in September 2014. But he did have a good year in 2015. He is reminiscent of Floyd.
They pick the best player on their board and don't reach for a position. Appears to be a much better group of defensive players left then o-lineman. Kaufusi,Bullard,Billings,Calhoun,Perry,Simmons.

Penn State was a mess. He did not develop as expected but has tool as goodas any QB in his draft.
Penn State was a mess and he got ruined there after O'Brien left. He looked good with O'Brien as a freshman but completely lost any semblance of being a good NFL QB when he got saddled with James Franklin.
He needs one, possibly two years holding a clipboard before he can even be thought of as a possibility as an NFL QB, just to clear his head and pick up the speed of the NFL game. He had big-time trouble identifying blitzes in college so how is he going to do that in the NFL
In the 3rd round? I'm a USC guy and I thought there was a chance he wouldn't be selected in the entire draft. He's put up good numbers but he's had GREAT receivers to throw to. He lacks arm strength,is an average athlete,at best, holds the ball too long and is the king of the check down. I'm shocked. Cleveland picked him over Cook. I'm shocked!
i want LBer in round 3 now
Yikes! That right side is scary.
He won't be I would love to trade back in to get him.

Have to admit I'm bummed we couldn't grab Jaylon or Myles but Sterling could be a better pro than both and the odds are actually with him.

Kenneth Dixon - RB/Louisiana Tech
Jonathan Bullard - DT/Florida
Andrew Billings - DT/Baylor
Kyler Fackrell - LB/Utah State

McShay has him in the 60s, right where the Giants are picking.
Gil picked him between 100-110. Gil is getting old.
REES ODHIAMBO at G (Boise St).

i don't think we are drafting a guard. They have said to like Jerry and Hart projects more as a guard.
If they pick a lineman it will be a tackle.
They have 2 picks coming up, in a row, could be a good area to grab Connor Cook.
