Austin hooper
Spence
Gazo827 : 4/29/2016 9:42 pm : link
Does anyone think we would have taken him? 3 times already teams have traded up in front of us. Im happy with shepherd. I actually wanted Spence though, so at the time I was so annoyed to see another team trade up and loose him.

if he is picked...seems pretty raw.

Mike B from JC : 4/29/2016 9:43 pm : link
Calhoun here, sort of a hybrid player. De/olb. Can rush the qb. Goodson olb as sy says.

Justin Simmons - S/Boston College
BJ Goodson - LB/Clemson
Kenneth Dixon - RB/Louisiana Tech
Jonathan Bullard - DT/Florida
Andrew Billings - DT/Baylor
Kyler Fackrell - LB/Utah State

Hope you are right Sy. I can live with those names. Would really like Simmons, Fackrell, or Billings.
OL makes sense
5BowlsSoon : 4/29/2016 9:43 pm : link
But so does LB and S. I would be happy with BPA from these three positions.
Le'Raven Clark would be a good pick

Cowboys taking Billings?
bigblue12 : 4/29/2016 9:44 pm : link
I hope not.
Kyler Fackwell seems like a good fit
TJ : 4/29/2016 9:44 pm : link
Good height, for a guy his weight he's supposed to be able to cover well. But he's slow for a pass rusher and his bench is pretty feeble compared to the WR we just drafted who weighs close to 50 pounds less.

If a guy is 6'5" 250 can NFL weight training always make him strong?
I think Simmons from BC, or an OL guy
PatersonPlank : 4/29/2016 9:44 pm : link
Could be a G or T.
Is Carl Nassib related to our Nassib?

You trade up and grab your guy.

That was their guy?

Yes, it was the Saints' guy.

Obviously it was the Saints guy, that's why they traded to get him. Seemed like you were saying it was the Giants.
I like what I have read about Simmons

Don't say that. Hackenberg to the Jets and Billings to the Cowpukes and I'm going back to scotch through the weekend.

I think his frame is maxed out, and he tore an ACL in September 2014. But he did have a good year in 2015. He is reminiscent of Floyd.
The Giants will not draft
Glover : 4/29/2016 9:46 pm : link
a single BC or Syracuse player.
If Bc safety doesn't go
hitdog42 : 4/29/2016 9:46 pm : link
He should be in mix.

I just hope

They pick the best player on their board and don't reach for a position. Appears to be a much better group of defensive players left then o-lineman. Kaufusi,Bullard,Billings,Calhoun,Perry,Simmons.
Dane Brugler tweeted that it is a DT for Dallas
bigblue12 : 4/29/2016 9:47 pm : link
he is in their building right now.
The #49ers

Do you think they go with the Ohio St. QB late?
Hmmm

Interesting impact players available ..

1> Justin SImmons
2> Nick Vannett
3> CJ Prosise
4> Hassan Ridgeway

I think
SirYesSir : 4/29/2016 9:48 pm : link
Christian Westerman deserves consideration here too. very effective interior lineman
right position
bigblue12 : 4/29/2016 9:49 pm : link
wrong player
Jerrell Adams
SB 42 and 46 and ? : 4/29/2016 9:49 pm : link
Mel had him ranked as top TE in the draft, in the 40s.

McShay has him in the 60s, right where the Giants are picking.

Gil picked him between 100-110. Gil is getting old.
According to Sy's rankings of Offensive Lineman, he likes next
PatersonPlank : 4/29/2016 9:49 pm : link
HALAPOULIVAATI VAITAI at T (TCU)
REES ODHIAMBO at G (Boise St).

He doesn't like the Texas Tech guy Clark.
Ohiambo he has ranked as the 3rd G in the draft.
I go Justin Simmons here
Sy'56 : 4/29/2016 9:49 pm : link
if he is available.

i don't think we are drafting a guard. They have said to like Jerry and Hart projects more as a guard.

If they pick a lineman it will be a tackle.

They have 2 picks coming up, in a row, could be a good area to grab Connor Cook.

Selected DE Yannick Ngakoue
Looking at Simmons 40
Mike B from JC : 4/29/2016 9:51 pm : link

Westerman at 298.. 6'3.. don't know if Solari wants a move guy. Interesting name though.
Guys falling off but still some very good ones, 1 more pick!
Coach Mason : 4/29/2016 9:52 pm : link
DL
Bronson Kaufusi - This years Preston Smith (Size/arm length/strength/triangle # combination Giants love from their DE's- 11 sacks/20 TFLS in 13 games last year, 5 blocked kicks in career too)

Jonathan Bullard- not as amazing measurables as Kaufusi but pretty darn good across the board as well. Amazing/explosive first step. Not a ton of sacks but coming to his own and quite possibly a double digit sack guy in the pros.

OT/OG
Shon Coleman
Kyle Murphy

RB
Kenneth Dixon- Marshall Faulk lite my favorite RB in this draft outside of EE

TE
Nick Vannett-another potential high level 2 way TE few are talking about

FS ( who would complement Collins very well)
Justin Simmons

Kaufusi,Simmons,Dixon all would be great choices.
