All that matters is that this is one draft where Reese & Co. absolutely, positively, cannot go 0-3 on Day 3. They don't need to find starters (although that would be nice), but they do need to find serviceable role players who will be able to contribute when called upon.

agree. i think billings would be a GREAT addition to DL rotation. he is a quick son of gun for his size. proejcted as a top 2 round pick, shocked he is there. also like westermann. i think scholbert could get some PT at LBer. i also like judon.

Jonathan Williams reminds me of Ottis (OJ) Anderson who ended his career with the Giants. Same running form, just a shorter version. I like your find there.

He is the one guy that sticks out to me, because I would have considered him in the 3rd and thought he would go in the 2nd or 3rd.

I think he has a medical concern. Maybe with his ankle. Only possible reason why he's available, IMO.

Weatherly of Vanderbilt. Could be used similar to how the Spags used Kiwanuka back in the day, but I think Weatherly is more used to that already. One thing is clear, I would not mind stockpiling picks if some team called and wanted to trade up because they realize that there is one name clearly at the top of the board. Ideally I would like to see the remaining picks on a combination of OL and Front 7 players, though if we are staring at Dixon or possibly Booker in Round 4 that is awfully tempting. While there are two TE from the state of South Carolina available, I am not sure they are that much better than what we have or can find after the draft is over. This is a weak year at TE and only really Hunter Henry would have been a clear upgrade

Why is apparently dropping? I didn't expect him off the board yet but I've read how his stock is really dropping. I was hoping the Giants would grab him in Round 4 yet there are still many better names out there IMO. I like Scooby though.

Late or UDFA.

I'm hopeful having a former LSU coach on staff could help with those UDFA choices.

Since the Giants are done early in the draft they should be aggressively working UDFA possibilities.

But there aren't many standouts. And I don't think I want those guys any more than I want BJ Goodson, LB from Clemson
