Giants have themselves a pretty young team now

How many over 28 key contributors are we really relying on now? Just Eli, Cruz, Jennings and DRC?

Zack Deossie

Josh Brown
Wow looking at the updated roster only 22 players born
Mason : 4/30/2016 9:52 pm : link
in the 80s with only 1 player born in the late 70s (Josh Brown) with Eli being the 2nd oldest born in 1981.

Sports have a way of making you feel old sometimes.
Also a faster team than the old days

That's slowly but surely being built for the modern run and gun NFL

How do you think I feel? I'm older than Frank Gifford and most of his teammates.
Yup, both defense and offense faster.

I hope that we can re-sign Nassib at the end of the year, as I think the kid's got potential, especially in McAdoo's system.

"Relying" on DeOssie? He still has a roster spot?
Youth and Draft goes hand in hand.

Was this a good draft? I will say it was okay but it did not address some major concerns. Here is the problem, Eli drops back to pass the ball to the rookie Shepard, man that's going to hurt, Eli is sacked again; how many times can Eli get hit like that? Jones and Newhouse is what the Giants are stuck with and you can not blame either one of them they were never meant to be no more then depth and not starters. The truth is, this offensive line is offensive. Draft grade of the players, B-. Draft grade as to this helping the Giants, a big fat D-. Never draft a player with you first round pick that won't be a day one starter. Also the Giants still don't have a defensive tackle that will put any pressure on the QB, stopping the run, yes, getting the QB, no. Going to be another long season unless the Giants get some help for the offensive line and find a way to harass the QB.
gotta keep Nassib

Don't tell Carl Banks that. He will rant about happy feet. Seriously, did the guy ever watch Peyton Manning in the pocket?

Upgrading team speed was an absolute priority. But other than Apple, Adams and Vernon, did they? Plus they are still very slow at WOLB, which caused all sorts of trouble last season.
