a downscaling of Coughlin's adherence to the power running game?
McAdoo has replaced Coughlin's influence in the draft process and the Giants immediately draft an elusive all-purpose RB, replace a "procession" with a very quick WR, and actually draft a talented and fast TE. Just guessing there will be less, and less predictable running, and more screens, draws and quick short passes. The days of keeping the number of run and pass plays equal during a game may be over.
Contrasted with upside gambles with consistent question marks such as Randle, Barden, Jernigan, etc.
The answer is never. He's always believed in a vertical passing attack.
Actually in 2007-08, they were more of that.
They were a top 5 one year, top 10 the other.
If you recall, both Jacobs and Ward rushed for more than
1,000 yards in 2008.

Nah. Just calling out complete horseshit tonight.
First the "tape" guy. Now your nonsense.
Basically you are saying, I'm an 'internet tough guy'.
Stay classy 'bro.
Btw, good thing the mods deleted your trash. You would have taken even more of a beating than you usually take.
Though, I'm not so sure about your mod deletion claim.
You use might be trying to hide a bit there, radar.
Fuckin hell. You're a horrible contributor here.
Not really sure why it was so awful. It was just asking people to forecast the success of the pics given that all are not likely to succeed.
But by all means continue to get disproportionately fired up about inconsequential things.

Randle and Jernigan were considered highly productive and pro ready though. Two of the most mind-numbing busts in recent history. They were not risky picks. They were picks the draft books loved.

you're seeing them pick prospects who were precision performers at their positions at big college programs, with high football IQ, football instincts, and strong work ethics.

Pro ready doesn't feel accurate to me but I don't remember for certain. What I saw at training camp was two very raw unpolished non-premium talents on the practice field. They also weren't IA program talents.
moving to a zone - again just like Mike McCarthy who McAdoo emulates in every conceivable way, right down to the practice and sideline attire
solari is another clue - he's coached a power scheme but he's a zone blocking specialist and it's what he believes in
Never saw that from Randle or Jernigan, they couldn't routes the same way twice, or fight for passes in traffic, or consistently show up in games on a weekly basis.

I hope for the best. He isn't a player I know anything about.
