Re first draft:
He wasn't politicing for offensive guys. He wanted the best guys to help improve the team. He worked well with Reese.

Re Apple:
Big physical corner. Plays the game the way it should be played. Fits the mold of the Giants.

Re the 3rd corner position:
Can never have enough cover corners expecially the ones that can tackle. You have to get after the QB in this league whether it is with a rush or covering.

Re Shepard:
Plays the game the way it should be. He can play both. He's detailed in his routes. Can stick his foot in the ground.

Re Cruz:
He is working and doing routes on air. He can stick his foot in the ground. They will be smart with him. It is more about the coaching staff rather than Cruz not being able to do it.

Re Shepard and Cruz:
Two different players but have similarities. Lower body strength.

Re Darian Thompson:
He played in the post and in the slot. Is a playmaker. Is smart.

Re Collins:
Dropped weight. Looks faster. Will play faster because he knows the D.

Re Shepard and Apple with the third guys on O and D:
On 3rd down and 2 minute it really helps. Bith players help there.

Re Goodson and LBs:
He likes the group

Re Tunsil:
Eli was at the top and he is glad he is on the team. Want guys who are good players that can help out the community too.

Re Perkins:
Like the skillset. Can be a complete back. Goid patience and vision. Can protect. Doesn't put the ball on the ground. Can help in the pass game.

Re eing a new coach:
Been prepared his whole life. When the first whistle bkew he was looking for someone to coach. Likes getting involved with the D and ST.

Re biggest change:
Motto is evolution not revolution. How they load practices. Tempo. The weight room.

Re ever q moment to relax now:
Every now and then. If he watches a movie with his wife he will have to rewind it a couple of times since he missed parts because his mind was was on something else.

Thanks, robbie.

I can't recall, other then say after the superbowl or the season ended, that he would do any media spots other then the one's he had to by rule.

...but oh well
Good PC, but I hate that cliched

'evolution not revolution' quote. It's thrown around all over the place, and I hate it in all instances. When significant change is necessary, if you're waiting for evolution to solve your problems you're going to be there awhile. Sometimes, revolution is a good thing.

Ehh, that would be in a way selling out TC, I don't think he's going to do that. Its all lip service anyway.

He said that there were a lot of good things so when he said evolution he meant not to let things naturally happen but rather to continue to improve on those things. However, they did drastically change some things. Basically he said they are always looking to improve even if things are going well.
thanks for posting

Coach McAdoo sure does have his coachspeak cliches down pat. Cruz and Shepard can both "stick their foot in the ground". Lulz.

Also love how every position on our team is referred to as a "good group".

Thanks!
