not backwards. None of us are privy to the lockerroom so we don't really know who demands respect and who doesn't. Collins has a year under his belt now, and from listening to Jenkins' remarks recently, DRC has been the leader of the secondary in the offseason workouts thus far. I loved Rolle when he was here, but there is a reason guys you bring back after you let them go don't typically work out again. Reese does seem to have a pretty good track record (for the most part) with letting guys go at the right time.

If the Giants again lose 6-7 S to injuries then yes. Other than that no way. He was not good his last year in NY, when he did play last year he was bad. They moved on when they should have

can he have one last rebound year? Sure, I guess. But is it a good idea to take that chance when we invested some mid round picks and devoted our entire offseason to getting rid of old/injured players and replaced them with younger guys with an emphasis on speed?

I just don't see it. I like Rolle, he was a really good Giant, but his time has passed.

I think he was misused due to injuries for most of his time here. But, his final year here was his worst by far and last year was worse. He can no longer be a starting FS, in my estimation.

But it's time to move on.

In the 3rd safety role. Much like Deon Grant, he could play off the bench and in the 3 safety look. We still need a vet safety.

There is nothing wrong with bringing him in to compete. he can afford a one year deal, he would help develop the younger players. DRC said Rolle helped him a lot when he came to the giants. He doesn't need to start if he doesn't earn it. but he would be a fantastic guy to have around in the summer.

I don't think Rolle was the leader a lot of fans believe.

Or does his new GMA contract prohibit him from playing football. Cause he's probably got as much left in the tank as Rolle days.

At the end of the day Rolle is just too old to be effective.

sign him for depth and his knowledge and leadership. I would not sign him as a starter, but Vet Min. to help the young Safeties. This would be a great deal. Even if you cut him before the season starts. This to me is a no brainer.

To move on he will not be coming back unless it is to retire as a giant on a 1 day contract the only thing I miss about rolle is his spots with joe and evan
