I forgot his handle BUT I'm rewatching week 14 @ Miami ... And I remember reading this idiot saying how much John Jerry shutdown Ndamukong Suh but in this first quarter starting with the first series Suh has been abusing Jerry and if Eli wasn't getting rid of it so quickly he would be good for Suh.. John Jerry CANNOT be our starting RG this season!
(Note: I wouldn't base wether you should or shouldn't start off of your performance against Suh but it is clear we need improvement on the right side period)
0 sacks, 0 hits.
Very very few RGs in football could last an entire football game allowing just 1 measly QB hurry if left an an island basically the whole game.
And yes, John Jerry did shut down Suh.
It's the very first thing Justin Pugh said in his post game presser.

The douchebaggery and blatant disregard for what actually happened is on full display after just one post.

This guy ^^^^
After that 1 hurry, Jerry gave up 0 QB pressures the rest of the game.
Final tally:
0 sacks, 0 hits, 0 disruptions, just 1 measly hurry.
Pretty damn good against Suh.
Shut him down.
Thanks. Re watching this game. Starting with the first series (Landon Collins made a nice hit! FF and JPP recovered in FG range.) John Jerry is getting pushed wherever Suh wants him. Collapses Eli's throwing lane one play gets thrown completely out of the way by Suh as he crushes Rashad in the backfield the next. Settled for 3.
Eli Manning finished that game with a 151.5 passer rating, completed 87% of his passes (27-31), 4 TDs, 0 INTs, 0 fumbles...
...and you're worrying about a couple TFL that had literally ZERO impact on the game?
Hilarious. That's why Coach McAdoo grades out John Jerry much much higher than people think.

First half!!!! I just seen a hurry from Suh so idk where you get your numbers from how about you re watch it and watch Jerry closely.

So by your brilliant rationale Jerry is good because Eli had a great game? Imagine if he had a RG who could run block!
yeah EliMcadoo2016 is now emobj999

BTW is was 3rd and 13 because SUH threw JERRY out of the way and crushed Rashad on a five yard loss the previous play everyone.

Eli had a great game directly because of the clean pocket provided to him by John Jerry vs Suh.

Thank god we have Eli or Jerry would get cut immediately after one of these games LOL. No seriously he's a good reliable "BACKUP" and there is nothing wrong with that, we could use him as a "BACKUP"
And John Jerry finished that game charged with 1 hurry allowed.
1 measly friggin hurry. Against Suh. In a game Eli had a near-perfect passer rating.
But wait, let's focus on that 1 TFL he gave up in the 1st quarter that had zero impact on the game.
You guys are beyond comical.
I said I wouldn't judge ANY player based off their performance against Suh I said I wanted to know the poster that said Jerry shutdown Suh when we played because uhm he sure as hell didn't and I only mentioned because I happened to be rewatching the game and it was just jumping out to me early in the game.
well said sir

It's Ndamukong Suh. He's a hall of famer. He's going to physically overpower just about any guard in one on one play. That isn't something to get stressed out about. Suh is a once in a decade talent.

Dude... "YOU NEED TO CUT ITTT!"
I'm glad to have him as a backup. I don't want him to be a starter because I want to be in the playoffs this season. He is not that good. He is actual pretty bad but can step in, in moments when needed due to fatigue or injury.
Oops....

Must not have read the original post

– A lot was made of Ndamukong Suh’s (+6.2) absense late in the game, but once again he played the vast majority of the team’s snaps. On the field for 60 of the 67 snaps the Dolphins defense faced, he was incredibly active against the run. He made right guard John Jerry’s (-5.3) game an absolute nightmare, consistently standing him up at the point of attack and finishing the game with four tackles resulting in a defensive stop.
Oops....
He's no pass rusher but he collapsed the pocket and throwing lanes in that game as well as you could have too
You don't get the point. No one is saying Newhouse should be the starter. They are saying Jerry should but they were both signed as backups and have both equally struggled.
He watched the tape
What does that tell the TROLL?
