It's free, and works decently. I've never had a problem with it, but again, I only use it occasionally. I also use their Remote Ripple client for Android devices. That's actually how I came across this tool, as I needed a way to log into my PC from my android tablet occasionally.
PC World reviewed a few. see link I had the same problem. Window Remote Desktop is the cleanest but as longs as you don't have to share the screen. I use it to support may parents when they have PC issues.
