Last season my 10 year old son offically became a Giants fan, when he began to dread every Third and One on offense, and put up his hands when we ran the ball for no gain.
These were his takes on the draft:
First Round: Why dont we ever draft a LB?
Second Round: Lets just hopes he runs the right routes, unlike Ruben Randle.
Third Round: Is Newhouse really going to be the starting RT?
I also didn't know squat about offensive linemen, and I certainly wouldn't have had opinions on who should start and who shouldn't.
Well done, Sir.
As long as he knows his stuff. And never posts on game-day threads, all will be well.
Today he's 18 and schools me on the cap and various NFL rules changes. It's funny how it becomes harder to keep up when you're older. These days he's fully immersed in all things Giants/Knicks/Mets, 12 months a year.
Not if you watch games together.
You pretty much win.
Would there be any teams or teams that you'd tell him to do like Eli, Elway and Bo did?
I would probably tell him to refuse the
Browns - train wreck ways
Maybe to refuse
Jets, Jags - Train wrecks too but not as long as Cleveland
Washington- This is more to be a dick to them. Refuse to join the team till they change the name.
*Dallas- Couldn't tell him not to, but I'd root for the Giants and that the kid has a good game.
