Giants Super Bowl 2017 Odds Improve - ( New Window )
Not bad

25-1 is probably around 10th in the league. It's pretty much telling you Vegas looks at NYG as a playoff team.

Dallas seems overvalued at 22-1, even assuming a healthy Romo. I'd flip them with Washington at 40-1. Philly at 50-1 is generous. That team isn't going anywhere in 2016.
I don't understand why
gidiefor : Mod : 5/4/2016 2:48 pm : link
Washington is 40 to one -- Washington is a much stronger team than the odds are showing
I have to remind myself
NINEster : 5/4/2016 3:12 pm : link
that Vegas odds aren't strictly about technical analysis, but predicting betting action.

There are some crazy odds for SB 51. How does ANY team's odds double or halve based on a draft?

Those odds

probably have more to do with NY fans' optimism after the draft (and the number of people putting money on the Giants) than Vegas' belief in them.

When was the Last time Washington Went to the Super Bowl?

Giants are more likely with Eli Manning who has won two rings.

Also Consider if Dallas has Romo All season It Should just be the Dallas and Giants fighting for the Division

EVERY4MINUTES consider this - Washington beat the Eli Manning-led Giants twice last year - and they had a very good draft as well as having a very stable team right now. They are not going to be push overs.

What does the last time Washington went to the Superbowl have to do with anything ? I don't subscribe to the numerological patterns you hold dear, and which failed you so decisively last year.
In Vegas now so let me know

Ummm... the giants beat the skins at home last year.
so they did

- well what I said still stands -- Washington is not to be taken lightly - or analyzed historically

Tell me who is the better Quarterback? Also the Giants had their whole roster Injured. Redskins had Deangelo Hall but didn't the Eagles beat the Giants as well twice?

The redskins in the last 10 years have "won" the division TWICE and got booted out the first round. In 2007 they got in by Wild Card which was the Year the Giants won as well as 2012 lol.

2015 Giants were injured and Dallas didn't have Dez or Romo.

Washington Will always fail because the Giants are the only team that wins Super Bowls in the NFC East. The Giants are also the most Popular Franchise or at least Top 5 as well. NFL is About Ratings since that is where the Revenue comes from if you know anything about the league.

How much wins did Washington have last year? 9-7 LOL It just goes to show how much of a wreck the NFC east was last year.

It's sad that you think Washington is good because of a Very Injured Team in the Giants and No Dez or Romo for the Cowboys which led them to 4-12

Baffling and it is very short sighted which is why you are disagreeing with me since I don't look at things with short sightedness like most people!!

32nd worst run defense? You are aware defense wins games and I Guarantee you the Giants will have a good defense.

Washington got in with Luck and were booted out of the first round it is funny.

Lol he can't even get the stuff he is saying right either so to make sure he has a point he has to lie to try and discredit me. How sad
QB position probably factors in at a higher weight

Giants have a proven, SB tested QB

Washington has a guy who had a nice season last year and seems to get the most out of his talent... but still possesses a noodle arm at the end of the day.

Not just that but Eli has been having OUTSTANDING Seasons with McAdoo's System and with no CRUZ Both seasons.

Eli just needs the right guys and he will handle his business.

Kirk Cousins just happened to be on a team with a better Defense and happened to beat out the Injured 4-12 Defense Cowboys as well as the Giants.

The Norman addition plays a role but is not enough. Hall and Norman is good but just not enough.
.
HeavyLevy : 5/4/2016 5:53 pm : link
Also Giants had the Worst Defense and managed to win 6 Games with their offense.

NOTE They lost games they had in the bag with Clock management so.....

Giants are SB Contenders.....Washington is not
