Admittedly I am not a good singer but having no microphone here didn't help. Tried using garage band to lay two guitar tracks. Criticism welcome. Witchita Blues - ( New Window )
speaking of BB King-- you may hate this out of principle, but there is a contestant on The Voice-- Laith Al-Saadi who played The Thrill is Gone the other night. He's not a typical reality competition singer. He's a long-bearded, Santa-on-an-Ashram looking blues man from Ann Arbor who finished second one year in the Guitar Center King of Blues competition. The guy can absolutely shred and has played with BB before.
Fine, troll, you don't like BB - feel free to insert Elmore James, Albert Collins, Robert Johnson, Son House, Skip James, Lightnin Hopkins, or whoever you'd prefer.
It was worse than awful - it was like ear genocide
Not sure if its the guitar or intonation, but figure it out and make sure the piece is in tune.
On your string bends, try to bend right to pitch and then use vibrato to waver the pitch down, that is a common issue for many players as you will hear out of pitch notes if you do not bend to pitch carefully and quickly. To understand what I mean, listen to Jeff Beck or Steve Vai, although Jeff and Vai bend to pitch with a bar at times.
bb King? Probably the lamest blues player out there
Back during my youth in 1969 I was fortunate enough to buy a copy of the double album "From the Beginning", essentially a greatest hits album on the Kent label for BB King covering 1950-1967. It's still in my collection.
"White people have no business playing the blues ever, at all, under any circumstances. Ever, ever, ever. What the fuck to white people have to be blue about?
'Banana Republic ran out of khakis?'
'The espresso machine is jammed?'
'Hootie and the Blowfish are breaking up?'
White people ought to understand it's their job to GIVE people the blues, not to get them. And certainly not to sing or play them. I'll give you a little tip about the blues, folks: it's not enough to know which notes to play. You need to know why they need to be played."

written about the then-guitarist of Youth Brigade, now with Social Distortion:
Johnny Two Bags doesn't have the blues, and it makes him sad,
Brings him down,
But not down enough to have the blues,
Cause he's too white to have the blues,
He thinks you should be black to have the blues,
He's too green to play the blues,
And Orange County ain't the breeding ground for blues....
Oh Johnny, do shut up, I know you think you've had it rough,
You say your life is hard,
But you didn't spend your days stealing chickens from the rich man's yard,
Don't play me for a fool, your dad wasn't traded for a mule,
Do you know what I mean?
Well, you ain't black and you ain't blind, your girlfriend's not the cheating kind,
Now you're cleaned up and off the booze, maybe you weren't meant to sing the blues?
Good work though
Yep - that's the blues alright.
Don't take any shit dust_bowl. Not bad for a first attempt.
wasn't Prince, but not awful.
Wow, that is VICIOUS.
A small earthquake was just registered in Memphis. Scientists believe that the cause was BB King spinning in his grave at ludicrous speed.
the rhythm geetar playing was fair
the picking was pretty good
He has some awesome covers on Youtube.

Ha, don't even have to google that sack of shit, he was responsible for bilking a number of senior citizens around here. Glad they locked him up.
Yeah, I was gonna mention that but I've been out of touch for awhile, couldn't remember the exact name, kept coming up with Simone Bros.
What is the axe/amp combo?
And this fuckstain rips people for not responding to content!!
Self-awareness continues to elude you.

Otherwise nice work.
Just staying consistent I guess.

The simos are a pair of special needs kids/adults that are serial dupe creators, trolls, etc. Most famous for a massive cripple fight with The Jake.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
Well done dust bowl!
I will admit, I smiled.
