Saw the movie last night on an IMAX and man oh man did it deliver. This movie is everything you hoped it would be and more. They pulled together the story, the scope, the players (a lot of them) and the action and really made 146 minutes feel like there was room for more. This movie is awesome.
I will definitely be seeing it again.
So hyped.
Excellent story telling and glad that both these directors Anthony and Joe Russo and screenwriters Chris Markus and Stephen McFeely that did Winter Soldier and Civil War are in charge of filming Avengers: Infinity War I and II
1) Can we finally have a good Spider-Man with some continuity?
2) Do they have the balls to follow the original ending?
From what ice read Vin they scrapped that aspect of the story. With so many recent school-related tragedies it's not hard to see why and while I would've liked the story to be as true to the comics I can't really argue the decision. I personally wouldn't have a problem with it but you know thy would've caught a load of negative press for it.
Spider, Antman and Panther great additions.

if they dont have the balls, it better be a flawless movie because that makes the whole comic
Positives
- Both Spider-Man and Ant-Man stole the show in the limited time they had on screen.
- For such a large cast, the movie was very well written and had a really good backstory and flow to it.
- Great introduction to Black Panther, looking forward to his solo film.
- Liked seeing the chemistry between Vision and Scarlet Witch.
- Great job on getting rid of the old granny type of Aunt May. Hard to believe Marisa Tomei is 51 years old already!
Negatives
- As great as Marvel is at building up the heroes storylines, they need to to a better job with the Supervillians like Red Skull, Mandarin and now Baron Zimo.
- Plus is it me but once they get a good villain, they kill him off quickly like Crossbones.
- One of the post credit scenes should have been Thor recruiting Bruce Banner to come with him to Asgard. They both are being featured in Thor's upcoming 3rd movie and this would have been a good tie-in.
- I found it creepy that Cap was morning the love of his life with Peggy Carter dying and her body is hardly cold, same day as the funeral, he's making out with Peggy's niece Sharon Carter?

as Civil War brought me back around to buying comic books after a 20 odd year layoff. Two hopes...

Yup, really puts an exclamation point on it and gives the entire series a sense of gravitas thatsmdifficultmto pull off in comics.
I mean it's not hard but when you're scrolling through a thread it's pretty hard not to stop and read when something catches your eye
Black Panther was so good, I only wish he came sooner.
Spider finally arrived on the big screen. You really felt like he was a high school kid.
Might as well Killed the character that got paralyzed though.
