I'd definitely give him a look if he were released.
Roberts isn't really that much different from Harris and Harris is already making a fair amount of money. I guess it would depend on whether he'd be inexpensive.
Those who've complained about Eli Apple saying we should have gone with something we need haven't really considered the talent they've been accumulating over there.
Much better return man, and Roberts is coming back from an injury.
Harris is a lock for the 53. He was everything they could have expected him to be last year, and there's a lot of dead money on his contract.
Roberts would make sense on a one-year qualifying deal as an extra option in case other receivers fail or get hurt in August; but I doubt he'll be that cheap, even after flopping in Washington.
You have Odell, of course, and then Randle, despite his flaws, had 800 yards and 8 TDs. Receivers beyond that? You have Harris who had 400 yards and 4 TDs. #4 among WRs was Miles White -7 catches for 88 yards. That is brutal.
RE: There is actually a pretty big void with Randle gone

brand new car. It still had a paper license plate on it. It was totally my fault. He was the nicest guy in the world about it, I felt so bad. Hope he lands somewhere good.

One slight difference between Roberts and Harris. Harris doesn't suck. There is a major chasm between their productivity. Also, why would DC get rid of Crowder? Very impressive rookie year.
A smallish WR coming off a torn meniscus doesn't seem like a good fit. Even if healthy, he largely duplicates Dwayne Harris.

We absolutely needed Apple to help us match up.

Has there been any mention of Washington possibly releasing Crowder? That would be bizarre.
Agreed.

Nope. I just meant that he's the only wideout on that team I really like. He seems poised for a big season. He's not going anywhere.
I think you forgot a player or two.

Washington loves Crowder. Why would he be released?

Never mind.
