If you could pick anyone on our roster that could be a surprise pro bowler this year (not the likes of our recent 1st round picks or big free agent signings) who do you think it would be?
He has the talent but there are still questions about how his injury will affect his play. Will he be able to grab with it? If he makes the pro bowl that means he is back and our pass rush is fixed.

Use All-Pro which actually carries weight. Pro Bowl sucks. So does the voting. I'd say Richburg but that's probably not much of a surprise.
Maybe Kennard can step up and play some great injury free ball. One can hope!
With Thompson Playing FS that's of Course he

if Hankins and/or Richburg get in. At this point I'd say Richburg is on track to make it even if he has a weaker season next year. He's being regarded as a top 3 center in the game.
As far as Hankins goes, the guy is a 2nd round pick and was an absolute beast two seasons ago. Maybe my definition of "surprise" is different, but he's a guy I expect to play right at that Pro Bowl level.

If he has a good year the media will be all over how he overcame the injury. Which means votes.
be Victor Cruz. I'd love to see it happen. A more believable surprise would be D. Harris on Special Teams, or Snacks Harrison at DL. I can see these two happening if we have a good year. Cruz would be awesome if that happens & I'd be thrilled for him.

pick... yeah the team that has the WR who after his first two years has rewritten the record book AND rerecorded the all time NFL highlight reel of greatest receptions ever... is gonna send another WR to the Pro bowl?
He's young, cheap and cost controlled at a position of need. It also adds depth to the OL by pushing newhouse to the bench.
I'm gonna go with Tye.

Who deserves it and gets screwed: Pugh and Richburg plus Harrison and Hankins

Jennings, Tye, and Kennard less of a surprise though.
it would be a surprise but it also just might happen.
I agree but Richburg wouldn't be a surprise.
It would be a surprise, I grant you...
