Age of team

CMicks3110 : 5/19/2016 9:50 am
Did the calculation last night, this is the youngest roster we've had since before the 2007 season. Avg. age is 26.17, in 2007 it was 26.89
Impressive

when when you consider that includes Josh Brown. This is a very young team but there is also a good amount of experience as well. I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic but this is the most talented team the Giants have had in a really long time.

There is no doubt the roster is much younger then in recent years. The giants have been drafting young 1st rounders and they have shed a lot of older veterans.

It's a little premature to calculate the age until the final 53 is set, but it's a good data point for now.
You can just conjure up the depth chart in your head

And see that this is predominantly a young team. OL Left side and center. Running backs outside of Jennings. Wrs other than Cruz. TEs. DL. Most of the LBs. other than drc the secondary --- all young or very young.
