Justin Pugh’s versatility has benefitted the Giants, but perhaps not the player himself. He was frequently shunted from his more natural position of left guard out to left or right tackle in 2015. While Pugh is serviceable out on the edge, he has the potential to be an elite interior offensive lineman. At guard in 2015, he allowed just one sack, one hit, and 10 hurries in 460 pass-protecting snaps. That’s less combined pressures than he allowed in 135 pass-protecting snaps at tackle (13). Pugh has also consistently made an impact in the run game; 2015 was his best year in that facet, as he ranked seventh with an 88.4 grade when opening holes on the ground. As long as the Giants are able to keep Pugh at his natural position inside, he has an excellent chance of cracking the Top 101 next season. — John Breitenbach, @PFF_John
Key Stat: As a guard, Pugh ranked 10th in pass-blocking efficiency in 2015.

praying to the lords of East Rutherford that a) Flowers takes a leap in the sophomore year and b) someone realizes the opportunity and steps up on the right side (i.e. Hart, Stingily) ...
Yes
How about Blake Bortles? 4428 yards & 35 TDs.
He wasn't drafted in the late first round to play guard.
To me, you see their influence by the way Ryan Fitzpatrick is still un-signed. In years past, given his gross or harvest numbers, some team, quite possibly the Jets, would have thrown 50 million at him. PFF had him 25th last season, just ahead of Eli, which is unfair to Manning, I know. But the larger point is these guys are gaining influence. With the addition of Kevin Gilbride, their influence should only increase.
When the Giants drafted him, it was because he was versatile enough to play anywhere along the line (which boosted his value to them) with the thought that he would eventually play LG or LT. Of all the positions, he was least likely to fit at RT but that's where he was forced to play immediately with both Diehl and then Snee out of the picture. He didn't do very well there, but that didn't diminish his draft value as someone who could play anywhere.
Although brief, I think he showed last year that he could at least be a serviceable LT and, if Solari decides that Flowers will be a RT and shakes up the line, I would not be surprised to see Pugh move outside again.

That site is a joke. They had at least 101 players better then Eli in 2015. That's fucking hilarious. Eli had 4500 yards, 35 TDs & 14 INTs. He had an Oline with a rookie LT. His LG & C were playing those positions for the first time in their career & two average players at RG & RT. He had a rookie TE, average RBs & a #2 WR who can't run routes. There isn't a QB in the league who did more with less.
How about Blake Bortles? 4428 yards & 35 TDs.
His collection on skilled players are superior to that of Eli's and Eli played with two of the worst tackles in football as well.

To me Flowers looked better then Richberg did his rookie year...Flowers played hurt all year with a high ankle sprain...and Richberg played out of position (G) in his rookie year...Richberg was so bad toward the end of hist first year he ended up getting benched...Richberg's difference between his rookie and 2nd year was like night and day...
There is no reason why we can't expect Flowers assuming he is healthy...and with a full year in the program both mentally and physically... to have the same kind of jump...also hoping to see the same kind of similar improvement with Hart..
