What with Reynolds? I used to think he had shot of being a "better Tejada". Sort of a nice utility guy but he hasn't been good for some time now. He could bounce back in AAA this year but he's pretty much been surpassed by TJ Rivera, Cheech, ect. and that are all beating down the door.
Certainly wasn't expecting a laugher Gio VS Colon. Ill take it. Interesting that they took no batting practice. Might have allowed them to loosen up a bit. Who knows.

Could Loney be quick, low-cost solution for #Mets at 1B? Can leave for MLB offer. Began day batting .333 with .784 OPS for #Padres at AAA.
1. What is Bartolo screwing around with an interpreter (though a cute one tonite,...he ought to treat her.....never mind)
27 years in this league he knows how to es speeak english...he's is toying around with us like he does with the batters.
2.I love me some dingers but what a pleasure it is to see hit after hit after hit, that's the way to play the game.
3. I know it's just a late May victory, but this 60 year old guy sure does know how to sleep better after a W.

Loney is a quick fix option but not terribly hard to find 1st baseman with no power
standing at the plate with the bat on his shoulder and no intention of swinging? Does he have a tweaked hammy?
It's twice in a row he did that. Crap like that really frustrates me. You don't even try?
Something has to be up ...two identical AB's.
TC said in his post-game that Colon had a stiff back. Got some treatment and was able to go, nothing to worry about at all, but he told TC he would not be hitting a Home Run this evening.
Ill take those at bats all year if he pitches like this. A gem in a big spot. Great win.
I don't see too much hope today. The Nats will smack Colon fast/slow pitches. And the Campbell/Plawecki combo are 6 or more sure outs.
Campbell can't hit period and Plawecki has yet to live up to the hype that was given about his hitting. Collins does not have any options as far as players. But, IMO he should drop Wright to 6 or 7 in the batting order.
Meh, Boomer usually doesn't do that when they lose.. Carton is always trying to create controversy and conversation by saying "shocking" things... but Boomer is usually pretty even-keeled when it comes to the Mets and Rangers.
Does that happen to anyone else?

Sometimes yes which is why I turn score notifications off. Cant stand it. But you might like it.
He and Ron rotate some series.
Keith was in the booth for the homestand, if that's what you're asking.
I love that he and Ronnie work the games. Yhey are a real treat for me as a long time fan.
I would. Or even Verrett. Its a blow out.
He raked 2 years ago now. He was awful last year in AAA and really is only here because he's a back up SS with Flores out.

Terry said Colon had a stiff back early. Cruised through 7.
Colon pitched through some back stiffness. It's why he basically stood in the batters' box and did nothing. Moreso than usual.
Bartolo actually told Ramos tonight he promised not to swing.

sucks. We'll get em tomorrow. Lets Go Metssssssss
Boomer and Carton :
"This team is in trouble!" "Trade this guy...trade that one!!!" "Something just has to be done ASAP" "Mets suck...going to get ugly."
TOday:
Boomer: "I'm just sick and tired of the negativity." "Where does it all come from??" "This team is great. Stop with the complaints"
Ridiculous

Are you really expecting quality content from those morons?
Bartolo actually told Ramos tonight he promised not to swing.
It's a good idea not to swing when he's got a bad bat, but why tell the opposing catcher? At least make Gio think he has to work.
At least we know why we weren't seeing the HR cuts we usually see from him, though.
