RT option later on

but many on here have pointed out that he is recovering from an injury. I think it was an achilles injury so that is a big question mark.

Loadholt's recovering from an injury and chances are if he looks good, but still loses out on the starting spot to Smith, that the Vikes would try and trade him or keep him for depth. Why cut a valuable asset? He's only making $3.75M this year and only saves $2M if cut.

is my option for veteran RT signing.

Odds are he'll take much less to start instead of a paycut to being the Chargers swing tackle

I'm a big fan of our offseason with one exception and I am baffled by it -Like many of you. Newhouse has proven in GB and here that he is a back up at best - sad to be counting on any of the others to start - OL is not where hopes and prayers are strategies - it is not a little problem IMHO

While i agree its a serious need, we survived fine last season, you hope that there is some improvement with ANOTHER year for that VERY YOUNG left side of Oline including richburg at center, plus an improved oline coach, plus more weapons for eli(allows ball to come out quicker) and maybe just maybe newhouse and hart or jerry can gel with the rest and hold down the right side.
that being said it isnt panic mode but i do expect a vet addition before camp starts

pathetic logic. Last year two starters were lost for the season and Pugh misses games. Flowers was knocked up. What happens if we suffer and injury this year? Can you name s backup. Our o line was s big reason we struggled last year and failed to close out a half a dozen games. Your post is dead wrong.
