Fox Sports is reporting Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather WILL happen Sept 17, 2016 in Las Vegas... Wow. If true, sure to be a huge circus.
They're not though. Canelo dumped the belt ostensibly to have more time to negotiate and then lowballed GGG (reportedly 15%) and now negotiations are off. Canelo is apparantly looking to fight GGG's leftover David Lemiuex.
That got embarrassed by mayweather and could barely throw a punch- and in a non corrupt world would have lost to Austin trout.
Yes can't wait for his hype machine to fight ggg.... Which looks unlikely anyways.
if they fight with Boxing rules, McGregor would not be the equivalent of a club fighter and if they fought with MMA rules, McGregor would kill him. The only loser will be the fan who pays for this circus.
in the early rounds, McGregor may have a puncher's chance in this match. I've gotta go back and watch their fights to see if McGregor can offer anything different than other boxers. But I'm not optimistic.

Maybe Mcgregor loses his shit and suddenly takes Floyd down and beats the shit out of Floyd on the boxing ring mat (never gonna happen). That would be worth it.
