This is bullshit. My son graduatedd college in May and he only got 40 likes on Facebook picture of him with the degree and his best friend (Joel) on the same day posted he was clean for one year and Joel got 233 likes for his drug free announcement.
Why do we live in a day and age where we praise someone for once using drugs and not using them but someone with a degree gets left out in the cold.w anna know something funny? My son has 340 more friends than my friend Joel has and they have 280 mutual friends so basically the same people are seeing this. All of my sons friends from high school seem like their jealous countless countless.
I left a little comment and everyone called me an asshole, i guess common sense isn’t a thing of today...or maybe I sense a bit of jealously in the whole conditoning. this whole little thing says a lot of noticing about society. i guess im just a grumpy old man.
Think about that a little.
yeah. you're an asshole. Pissed that son didn't get enough likes? this is what passes for a social crisis these days?
Plus, if your son is anywhere near average, he probably drank when he shouldn't have or done drugs. he didn't get addicted, luckily. addiction is far, far harder to overcome than getting a college degree.
no efforts just a flick of the back and yor on your wrist crying
Stopping being a junkie is hard.
Congrats to your son for graduating college. Now tell him to get off the computer and go make a friend or two, hunh?

Next time, try using English.
Is there a person on here who does?
I'd even go so far as to say it is a lot easier.

Last week you were bitching about social media. This week, you are pissed not enough Facebook recognition has been given.
Trying hard and failing at the trolling thing.

If it were me I'd say
I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change
Uh oh, a Whammy!
Put some thought and effort in for fuck's sake. Where is your pride?
We should all scrape some money together and send it to Joel.
I'm actually surprised your loser fake son has 40 friends on Facebook.

Individuals within the group are inadequate envious pricks who want to feel good about them themselves on social media. They are not liking Joel for going sober. Its a combination of condescension to make themselves feel better, and hopping on the bandwagon for the 50% chance that he relapses so that they can pity him some more.
And complementing your son doesn't make them feel good about themselves.
I also think you need to look into this need for acceptance. Getting likes on facebook shouldnt matter to anybody the day their son graduates. Pretty sad if you ask me. Enjoy the moment, letting something so childish bother you so much that you comment on it is not a way you want to go through life. Likes on facebook shouldnt make you more or less proud of any accomplishment.
Never bet against the stupidity of the American public.
