that is the conclusion of a website called the "Prediction Machine" as conveyed in a Giants wire article.
Prior to today I had not heard of the Prediction Machine or the Giants Wire (a USA Today affiliate).
Anyway, it is nice to read more favourable reviews of the Giants draft and some analytics praising the draft class.
Key excerpt:
According to PredictionMachine.com, which ranked all the players in the NFL Draft, the Giants had one of the best draft classes in the NFL to the point that they added 1.26 wins based solely on the draft. That was not only the best in the NFC East but second most in the league. The Cleveland Browns added 1.55 wins according to their projections, the best of any team. |

Analytics says the Giants got better after the NFL Draft - (

Perkins very well could be a solid tandem guy in our backfield.
With Adams I need to see him in action to know whether he is could be a starter.
No, if they had enough TALENT to close out games they could have won more
Ba da bump.
For 2016...the Eagles probably. They drafted a QB (even the best have growing pains) and not much else.
Considering the Cowboys 2nd round pick is unlikely to play this season, they likely added less wins then you'd expect from a team picking 4th. (though the health of Romo/Dez likely adds wins)
Basically any team that added less than the "average" amount of talent.
So according to this "analysis", the league average is a 1/2 a win due to the draft, so you have to subtract 0.55 from each team's "added wins". The Giants therefore, added 0.7 wins.
Washington added zero wins (0.54 - 0.55), Philly lost a half a win (0 - 0.55) and Dallas added less than half (0.92 - 0.55).
So the Giants gained relative to all NFC East teams.
I guess this is an OK article in the slow times in May.

wonderful
That adjustment was for the draft only....
The addition of free agents should be another couple games....
Luck and staying away from injuries will determine how many more....

Anything less than a perfect 16-0 regular season will be a disappointment.
Absolutely correct but there are no mathematical equations to back these silly projections.
That's what I call thread over lol.

Apple can't be any worse than Amukamara was his first season with us in which we won a super bowl with him as CB2.
I actually post on it ....
