I am excited to see it tomorrow. I am very surprised by the 47% rating because I do not see any possible way this movie is worse than the amazing spiderman 2, spiderman 3, or X-Men LS.
I started reading some of the audience reviews on RT and most people said the critics are crazy and that it is very good.
and with my limited time these days to see movies in theaters, its a good barometer for knowing when and when not to see something right away or wait for later. Usually if its 70% or higher, i'll make time for it if its a movie that interests me.
I'm 50/50 on it as I didn't really hate it and I didn't really like it either. It was blah. Blah is the best way to describe it really. I'll go into details on the spoiler thread for those interested.
FYI, stick around till the end credits scene.
Haven't seen it yet, but I think it's quite possible...
It really has gone overboard. There are often way too many characters, the best superhero films have been the ones where there is actually one super hero

It really wasn't about superhero fatigue with this film. Best part of the film was seeing Storm, Psylocke, Archangel and Quicksilver stole the show again.
Main issues were the lazy writing, plot and story-line.

You should see Civil War Its full of super power beings but they are all part of the plot and story.

I'm seeing the film regardless of the poor reviews, and I hope that's the case anyways...
I just have a lot of trouble thinking that a Bryan Singer X-Men film is terrible.
