unbelievable! Eli was rated #47 of the top 100 NFL players, by NFL players.....NFL Network airs this for those that have never seen it. They review each player and the Eli review was great....most players referred to him as having Eli Manning face, never changes in any situation.....win, lose, TD, etc. Anyway they respected him as a smart competitor.
Curious how Romo fared...

Also, don't forget the Top 100 Player list is bullshit.

They don't, which is why the list can be so all over the place and doesn't hold much to any weight.
In all honesty, Eli probably largely made the list this year, after his previous misses, because of how much coverage the Giants' defense got for being so god awful. Players are going to feel you a lot more when they turn on ESPN or check Twitter and see you throwing 6 TDs/0 INTs and losing or leading your team back against the best team in football only for your defense to collapse yet again in the final two minutes; they aren't when the highlights pushed are mostly of you throwing picks or fucking up in some way.

It's based on last year. Barnidge had a much better season.

The streak of games played, and especially the specific games he's played through at a remarkably poised level and triumphed in, are the main reasons he SHOULD BE high on the list.
Not very high quality analysis.
Eli is ALREADY in the TOP 10 of all time in completions, TDs and comebacks. By the time he hangs it up, he could be in the top 5. Add this to the two SB MVPs, and the guy who never gets any respect is already a HOF LOCK. The most the haters can do is keep him off the first ballot.
Rules can't change/challenge comeback stats. You either lead your team down for points, or you don't.
I love that Eli broke the 4th quarter TD record back in 2011, throwing 14, which had been a tie between Johnny Unitas and Peyton forever.

is a nice clutch stat. But everyone will say his stats are inflated due to new rules. But noone says that about ben, brady, brees or anyone currently playing.

I love that Eli almost always brings you back off sabbatical..:)
How ya doin'?
Cool. You've been missed
Looking forward to training camp.
The list is called the TOp 100 PLayers for 2016-- for the upcoming season. Yet all the people talk about is how well they did in 2015-- and not as a trajectory for how it'll translate next year.
In all seriousness I have to assume the majority of players consider him one of the QB's who you're not wanting to face in any game. They all must know that if his o-line blocks, their team likely has to score 3+ td's to have a chance of winning and they better make it two scores or more before the Giants have the ball with under 3 minutes...
List failure.
