Is he going to call plays, what is he doing to reshape the team, weight room re-done new weight coach. Music playing during practice...younger players now used to that. Big change for older players/coaches.
Eric says it will come down to a few crisis moments
when players look to the HC. Coughlin had ton of experience and success. McAdoo is new. He's going to have to command the locker room and players are going to have to trust him. McAdoo is well respected in the league, but we will have to see how he plays out.
But what credentials does Eric have to be involved in any media related discussion of the Giants?
It's basically no different than someone calling NYKallDAY to be a guest to discuss the Giants. What worth does the opinion have outside of the confines of BBI?
Again not trying to be condescending or whatever I just am legitimately curious.

Understood, but Eric has far more knowledge about football and its machinations than most of the media out there, imo
where he spends countless hours tracking the team and updating every roster/coaching move and every other bit of info coming down the pike for around 20 years give or take, and developing contacts within the organization and the league...
Eric has earned his stripes as a creditable Giants fan worthy to host the discussion.
Certainly not the same thing as some anonymous poster who decides to share his opinion.
BB 56 - Have you listened to the show? it's mostly call in ra-ras.
They give very little inside info out, it's the Giants official media... so they don't speculate much or hold anyones feet to the fire.
Having eric on the give the pulse of the fanbase and extend the conversation there is a great perspective to have. He's outside the org, he can be objective and frank, more guests like this would be a benefit to the show.

I think 20 plus years of leading discussions, and writing analytical team reports, on the most intelligent Giants fan site anywhere give Eric huge credentials -- and he is frequently called to do guest spots on radio shows. He is apparently considered an expert by the news department at Giants.com -- and that is a pretty good indicator of the status he holds.
Eric can hold his own in most discussions and has a professional demeanor. I'm not sure what or why Limerick is questioning because of this.

The basis of his being on was for the subject of getting the pulse of the fan base and what's being talked/debated on the giants. Not x's and o's. So Eric is a great one to have on since he's had and runs (like said) a giants message board for some 20 odd years or so.
Eric replies...OL depth, TE and Will Tye is a nice story.

It's his tight pants.
