Confirmed, via source: the #Mets are promoting top outfield prospect Brandon Nimmo today. Michael Conforto will be optioned.

It's possible, even likely Nimmo is an upgrade over Conforto with a bad wrist, but he shouldn't see MLB LHP, and in LF it isn't impact bat.
I'm glad Nimmo has done enough to warrant being called up over some AAAA scrub option, but sucks Conforto hasn't had the season many expected and is injured.
ideally they both are in the OF together in the next couple years.

7-10 days in the minors for Reyes per Sandy. Has already been taking reps at 3b. I find it hard to believe he'll be playing much OF with only 7-10 days worth of games (sporadically at the position) to get ready.
then play the 2 hottest hands between Reyes, Flores, Loney at the corners. I'm pretty sure Conforto will be back within a month so I'm excited to get a look at Nimmo.
