Eugene Monroe finally comments to the media

Big Blue '56 : 6/28/2016 3:40 pm
Quote:

Monroe had conversations with the Giants right after being dispatched by Baltimore that were reportedly centered around Monroe making the move to right tackle after playing on the left side throughout his time with the Jaguars and Ravens. During an appearance on Sirius XM NFL Radio with Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn, Monroe said he’s “very respectful” of the early interest but that he doesn’t feel pressure to sign with a team right away.

“After the Ravens released me, some interest sprung up,” Monroe said. “We’ve been in discussions with a few teams, but this is very new. I’ve been released and it’s been just a short amount of time since that happened. I’m weighing my options right now. I don’t feel like I have to jump on one of the first opportunities that come up.”

Monroe didn’t say anything concrete about whether he’s willing to move to the right side when asked on Tuesday, saying only that “time will tell” what’s best for him.

Social responsibility? Are you for real?

Nah, it's just a made up theory never endorsed by the NFL or Government. The next time a 15 year old gets a concussion he can smoke weed b/c Monroe claims "I'm not here advocating smoking weed for recreational purposes," he wrote. "However, smoking weed may just protect your brain."
Never mind all the negative side effects of M b/c children, etc never follow the leads of adults.

Not to mention, how is it regulated? I mean, doesn't everybody smoke weed for the medical benefits? Nobody would ever abuse the privilege, especially in the NFL or children b/c the weed epidemic in this country is not out of control.

Yeah I know, that's not Monroe's message and it's not convoluted. You can't even get people to read a post yet they clarified the ramifications the Government and NFL apparently haven't considered.

Based on the NFL stance i would agree. The naive might think it's much easier to just ban the testing while David just shows up for his monthly whine in my direction while adding zero to a thread. What a dunce.

Riiiiiiiight. Because FDA approved drugs like oxycontin, opiates, and ADHD meds haven't been shown to have worse long term effects than marijuana. Because the NFL has the players' welfare in mind when they administer cortisone shots which do nothing but mask an injury so the player can keep playing.

Because these two governing bodies don't have a history of impropriety in the pursuit of self-interest.

I ask again. How old are you Giants2012?
everyone is well aware of the government and NFL's stance

and why their stances are what they are.

Your agenda is quite clearly to spout anti-marijuana propaganda.

We're just trying to let you in on a little secret that you're completely oblivious to. Science, facts, economics, and statistics are proving the legalization advocates to be right.

Keep on spouting that propaganda because you don't have much time left. Full on recreational marijuana legalization is coming everywhere in the US and spoiler alert, the positives are gonna severely outweigh the negatives on a massive scale. As it already is where it's being tested.

Unless those kids have access to incredible wealth and resources, they can't. If you think that just throwing seeds in the ground or in a pot with soil will produce a burgeoning, productive plant, your ignorance has been shown once again. The amount of sunlight, pH in the soil and care that goes into growing weed is tremendous. Not to mention the time it takes. The expensive lamps, constant drain on the electric bill because of fans, HPS as well as maintenance is frankly a job. Me and some buddies grew a few plants in college and it was almost around the clock work. And the yield from Three plants got us maybe an ounce or two. You literally need a green house and a crew in order to grow enough pot to constantly smoke.

You are so far out of your depth here that your argument is getting shredded with each post. Just stop and post about incontinence or something because not to take a page out of David's book, but you are sounding very stupid.

I mentioned those drugs because prescriptions for opiates and amphetamines that are far more damaging to the system are thrown around like free t shirts at a Trump rally. How many players have you heard have gotten addicted to opiates? Those things can straight KILL if you overdose on them. But the government says they are legal if prescribed and team doctors prescribe them.

ignores everything else in the post. no more time wasted with this guy.

mrvax, if you asked me 10 years ago, I would have never sounded this confident. But ever since Colorado went full rec legalization, it seems inevitable

I've been there twice now since legalization, it's still a normal place to live, hell has not broken loose, and the place is actually booming, especially places like denver and boulder.

Lots of states can already see how much revenue they're missing out on and it's only a matter of time before the feds will want more of their own cut so I can't see prohibition lasting much longer than five years now, and my money is on it happening in the next 4 no matter who the next president is. And the DEA is itching to remove the schedule 1 classification.

For once common sense might soon prevail on this issue.

Moving the goalpost? Dunce, who posted about those other drugs? At this point you likely believe the M and drug epidemic in the country was all obtained legally. Then again, I'm not sure you really understand why the NFL has not abandoned the test for M in the first place.

Did you go to school when the Dunce cap was still a thing? Your fascination with it is a little alarming.

He's projecting his own personal issues.

David's a fascinating fella. Trolls up, preaches intelligence and than offers nothing. Must be the prereq for costume jewelry. Not sure what your excuse is but you appear more like David every post. Just an angry dunce with not much on the schedule

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Your next post about the topic will be your first Dunce.

Mad? Nah. In fact, you're the sad individual who decided to attack me on that thread, unprovoked so, who's following who. But, never lose that vivid imagination of yours you special, sad little boy.

Chopper duuuuur!

So chop has the same hobby as David? Maybe they could date and smoke a bowl together. Not that's other could afford to lose another brain cell. They're as close to a lobotomy as they can get.

Ok, your brilliance is literally making my brain leak out of my ears because of it's extraordinary dearth. I am appearing more like David? Haha, on that note, toodles!
. . .

whatever it's leaking isn't much off a loss.

I deal larger diamonds, unheated rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. I can safely assume you couldn't afford the least expensive piece in my safe. I see your flexing your intelligence muscles again, still don't know the difference between then and than?
Thanks for the unsolicited resume
Giants2012 : 6/29/2016 9:26 pm : link
but I'll stick to the NY diamond district and the topic at hand which you still aren't smart enough to contribute too.

What a dunce
You brought up my line of work and clearly misrepresented it
David in LA : 6/29/2016 9:34 pm : link
so clarifying what you can't afford was not in fact 'unsolicited'. Get some help. You're clearly a lunatic that is off his fucking rocker.

So we have covered that you know nothing about reading comprehension, the effects of marijuana and it's application as medicine, what the purpose of a lobotomy is (I'm impressed you spelled it correctly...oh, wait....Google) and that you were forced to wear a Dunce cap because you are old, have old ass balls, not very smart, oblivious to the progression of times and project that on a football message board.

I ask again, how old are you there Randolph? Or is it Mortimer?

Been running near the charging bull for 2.5 decades so save your dunce cap corner rocker, unsolicited resume and whine and try to stay on topic. Something you clearly had no intention of doing from the outset.

This entire thread went off track because you're a moron
David in LA : 6/29/2016 9:48 pm : link
that can't follow along with anything, and each successive post has moved the thread to a new talking point that has nothing to do with the OP.
Dunce cap corner rocker?
David in LA : 6/29/2016 9:49 pm : link
Was that also known as Giants2012's reserved seating in school?

Says the hypocrite who chimed in at 3:30 and, as usual, spreads nothing but insults while adding nothing to the thread topic. A true troll, congrats and enjoy your night of being yourself. You're literally too stupid to insult.

Well, maybe not ....
