Monroe had conversations with the Giants right after being dispatched by Baltimore that were reportedly centered around Monroe making the move to right tackle after playing on the left side throughout his time with the Jaguars and Ravens. During an appearance on Sirius XM NFL Radio with Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn, Monroe said he’s “very respectful” of the early interest but that he doesn’t feel pressure to sign with a team right away. “After the Ravens released me, some interest sprung up,” Monroe said. “We’ve been in discussions with a few teams, but this is very new. I’ve been released and it’s been just a short amount of time since that happened. I’m weighing my options right now. I don’t feel like I have to jump on one of the first opportunities that come up.” Monroe didn’t say anything concrete about whether he’s willing to move to the right side when asked on Tuesday, saying only that “time will tell” what’s best for him. |
Social responsibility? Are you for real?
Nah, it's just a made up theory never endorsed by the NFL or Government. The next time a 15 year old gets a concussion he can smoke weed b/c Monroe claims "I'm not here advocating smoking weed for recreational purposes," he wrote. "However, smoking weed may just protect your brain."
Never mind all the negative side effects of M b/c children, etc never follow the leads of adults.
Not to mention, how is it regulated? I mean, doesn't everybody smoke weed for the medical benefits? Nobody would ever abuse the privilege, especially in the NFL or children b/c the weed epidemic in this country is not out of control.
Yeah I know, that's not Monroe's message and it's not convoluted. You can't even get people to read a post yet they clarified the ramifications the Government and NFL apparently haven't considered.
Based on the NFL stance i would agree. The naive might think it's much easier to just ban the testing while David just shows up for his monthly whine in my direction while adding zero to a thread. What a dunce.

Everyone's already agreed that you're clearly a dumbass. You seem to be fixated on the dunce word, you must have seen that word a lot! Hey, if I'm adding nothing, that's a better contribution from taking away from the thread.

If the dunce cap fits, keep wearing it and contributing nothing but name calling, whining, etc. it's the same old act which got to where you are in life. You're a winner
At this point I'm thinking you're type just doesn't read or understand the NFL or Government's stance as to why we are where we are and the testing exists.

Riiiiiiiight. Because FDA approved drugs like oxycontin, opiates, and ADHD meds haven't been shown to have worse long term effects than marijuana. Because the NFL has the players' welfare in mind when they administer cortisone shots which do nothing but mask an injury so the player can keep playing.
Because these two governing bodies don't have a history of impropriety in the pursuit of self-interest.
I ask again. How old are you Giants2012?
Your agenda is quite clearly to spout anti-marijuana propaganda.
We're just trying to let you in on a little secret that you're completely oblivious to. Science, facts, economics, and statistics are proving the legalization advocates to be right.
Keep on spouting that propaganda because you don't have much time left. Full on recreational marijuana legalization is coming everywhere in the US and spoiler alert, the positives are gonna severely outweigh the negatives on a massive scale. As it already is where it's being tested.
Your agenda is quite clearly to spout anti-marijuana propaganda.
.
That's so dumb of you to claim.
Absolute nonsense.

Tell me how kids across America can grow OxyContin, opiates and ADHD meds (Bizarre you mentioned ADHd drugs in the same sentence as the other). It's a broader scope
I'm almost 56 and back in the day I used to believe pot would be totally legalized by 2000 when most of the stubborn head in the sand older bastids making laws would have dies off. It's taken far far too long and I don't even use it.

Once again, you're moving the goalposts here. Who's talking about kids growing pot? Do you know how much work it entails to get a grow operation going? BTW, still looking for that twitter rant from Monroe. Why don't you call it a day, and take the L. Walk away with what little left of your dignity you have left.

Unless those kids have access to incredible wealth and resources, they can't. If you think that just throwing seeds in the ground or in a pot with soil will produce a burgeoning, productive plant, your ignorance has been shown once again. The amount of sunlight, pH in the soil and care that goes into growing weed is tremendous. Not to mention the time it takes. The expensive lamps, constant drain on the electric bill because of fans, HPS as well as maintenance is frankly a job. Me and some buddies grew a few plants in college and it was almost around the clock work. And the yield from Three plants got us maybe an ounce or two. You literally need a green house and a crew in order to grow enough pot to constantly smoke.
You are so far out of your depth here that your argument is getting shredded with each post. Just stop and post about incontinence or something because not to take a page out of David's book, but you are sounding very stupid.
I mentioned those drugs because prescriptions for opiates and amphetamines that are far more damaging to the system are thrown around like free t shirts at a Trump rally. How many players have you heard have gotten addicted to opiates? Those things can straight KILL if you overdose on them. But the government says they are legal if prescribed and team doctors prescribe them.

mrvax, if you asked me 10 years ago, I would have never sounded this confident. But ever since Colorado went full rec legalization, it seems inevitable
I've been there twice now since legalization, it's still a normal place to live, hell has not broken loose, and the place is actually booming, especially places like denver and boulder.
Lots of states can already see how much revenue they're missing out on and it's only a matter of time before the feds will want more of their own cut so I can't see prohibition lasting much longer than five years now, and my money is on it happening in the next 4 no matter who the next president is. And the DEA is itching to remove the schedule 1 classification.
For once common sense might soon prevail on this issue.
Btw, this clusterfuck was an unexpected surprise, who is this guy?
Sam we were in college....it was in a fucking closet. Lol. The plants MIGHT'VE been 3 feet tall. And maybe I got my numbers wrong. It wasn't my apartment. I can't remember.
But 11 from two is impressive. What was the strain? They have engineered ones like Big Bud which yields a tremendous amount.
And 11 from
I had one in the garden and one in a big pot, they both went in the garden this year, hahaha.
I had one in the garden and one in a big pot, they both went in the garden this year, hahaha.
Wow. 3 quap is a good yield for sure. I don't really puff anymore, but if I do, I'm all about not wasting my time with buds and go straight for the BHO. I can barely walk down a flight of stairs when I get a good one. Haha

Moving the goalpost? Dunce, who posted about those other drugs? At this point you likely believe the M and drug epidemic in the country was all obtained legally. Then again, I'm not sure you really understand why the NFL has not abandoned the test for M in the first place.
