I'm looking for help on how to block the search of certain YouTube videos or create a playlist.

My daughter is 3 and is already pretty crafty with this thing. She discovered on her own how to use Siri and search for the ones she likes.

We have tried the iPad lock, the three clicks, etc which works but is limited because it's just stuck on one video.

Thanks for any help.

Put it in airplane mode? Or disable the wireless?

for kids app.

and the above suggestions are good too, download only games you approve, disable in-game purchases, and even place it in airplane mode so no wifi access.

I believe you can also add parental controls. I never looked into it since I controlled my kids usage, but they were much older like maybe 8 before they got ipads.

we keep all smart devices away from our 3.5 year oldas much as possible so he is n't addicted to them.

He plays with toys and watches occasional television (netflix/youtube on appletv) with supervision

with letting them use smart devices. Just in moderation, kids are very curious at a young, i try not to hinder them from trying new things. You can add restrictions in the settings when she has the ipad that way certain apps like youtube wont be available to her.
