It boggles the mind how Refsnyder is sitting the bench today. He started the rally last night He is a better option offensively then Arod, Hicks and Torreyes, I forgot Torreyes was even on the team that's how long it's been since he played.
If I have to listen to Micheal Kay say this is Aaron Hicks chance to make his case as an everyday player I'm going to lose it. He has been it for a month now and nothing happens. How the fuck does this guy keep getting playing time. Refsnyder is a much better hitter but, he sits and Hicks plays.

Can't totally disagree, but I think he needs two months to settle in and not worry about being pulled. He's a very good OF with a cannon arm. If you want to see what the young guys can do, let them play. They know what Ref can do and he's Teix backup for now. I don't expect much based on what I've seen. But we did not see much from Didi for half a year.
He was breaking back to the bag with only a small lead.
Still doesn't make up from that shitshow Monday. That game should have been called after 8. BS waiting 3:35 to resume the game.
The ball got away from the catcher earlier in the inning and Headley was dancing back and forth when he should have been on third. Same thing on the passed ball. The ball is on it's way to the screen and Headley is looking in and going back to third! During the interview after the game he mentioned that he was working on his secondary lead. Bahaha. I almost thought it was Posada out there.
A-rod had a 3 game hitting streak and hit in 7 of 8, before he sat 2 straight days for Hicks, who is hitting 20 points less. Teixeira has played almost everyday since coming back and he's hitting more than 30 points less and dropping. Ref barely sees the field now, yet he has been one of their best 2 or 3 hitters of late.
I know people like to pile on A-Rod, but he has been starting to hit. I'd much rather have him in the lineup everyday than Teixeira, who is an albatross for the better part of 3 or 4 years now.
In all honesty the Yanks had no business winning the other night
I think they should unload their relievers to the highest bidders. Texas needs a reliever as does the Indians. So do the Cubbies. Not sure about the Nats. Either way lets get some jewels for the future.
Relievers seem to be the easiest to develop. I mean Mo leaves and Robertson appears. He leaves and Bettances then Miller and now Chapman arrive. I bet Evolodi would be a terrific closer

Eovaldi doesn't have the control to close. The Yanks didn't develop Miller or Chapman. So top notch relievers are still hard to find or all the teams you mentioned would have them.
because there wont be a chance for them to save a game in most situations. So how many undiscovered relievers might there be if every team was winning? Probably a lot more them one realizes. Mo as the GOAT would have been an unknown if he had been stuck on a bottom feeder club.
"Well...that's good news. Hicks outta the game....er, I mean he looks good walking off the field there."
Haha. Cone is the best.
Well, that's baseball Suzyn.
