Cowboys' LB Rolando McClain will be suspended the first 10 games for violating the NFLs substance abuse policy, per @toddarcher and me.
and I really believe they are the best team in the division. At the rate the Cowboys are going they might not have a starting defense to play against us.
at this rate, this could be the Cowboys' opening night defense
Even better -- that was when he was arrested on assault charges.
"McClain, 22, held a gun beside a man's head during an altercation and the man begged him not to shoot, according to a statement released by Lt. John Crouch of the Decatur Police Department."

Then this begs the question: Why isn't he behind bars right now? Sounds like felony aggravated assault to me.

According to Wiki, he was convicted and was going to spend 180 days in the slammer, but victim dropped the charges and judge closed the case.
completely lauded that signing by Dallas and talked about how we were asleep at the wheel. He's given them about 12 good games between suspensions and injury.
He signed a 1-year deal for this season that was reported as worth up to $5M. Unfortunately, $1M of that money is a bonus that he only earns if he plays 75% of defensive snaps, and $2M of it is in per-game bonuses ($125k per). The guaranteed money was only $750K.

When Dallas cuts McClain they will incur 750,000 in dead money, but will gain 2,625,000 in cap space.
Players available in free agency include Justin Durant who played two years under Marinelli and could step right in. If this were to happen Lee would probably slide inside.
There is also DeMeco Ryans, Curtis Lofton, Donald Butler, and Stephen Tulloch when Detroit releases him. In house Dallas also has options.
It will be an interesting training camp on the defensive side of the ball. There will be a lot of competition that's for sure.
and avoiding injuries. I could gloat over dallas problems but then watch when the bottom falls out on our team. Surprised we haven't had any major injuries yet not any suspensions. The latter might be because of the importance of character with the team. The maybe because its pre July 4th
then they have a realistic chance of winning the opening game. Hopefully they won't make heroes out of the back ups that will be playing for the suspended starters!
a lot of games lost to suspension on that D and then once Sean Lee gets hurt they'll be in bigger trouble.
bwahahaha!
Can the defense hold Dallas to 29 or fewer?
On paper, the Giants should be able to get this done.
Also, Cowboys DE DeMarcus Lawrence's appeal was denied, he is suspended 4 games, per @toddarcher.
I guess Jerruh and Roger are not seeing eye to eye these days.

Well OK then!!!
The Giants have to be salivating a little(as in, like a bunch of crazed dogs) after this most recent Cowboy Cluster.
Maybe drafting and signing 'choir boys' isn't a bad idea.
He should be locked in a room with a father who lost a child to some piece of shit drunk driver and let's see how quick that smile is removed.

The victim probably had 500,000 reasons to drop the charges.
