Sour cream (why on Earth would you eat that-- it says right on the tub that it's gone bad!), most yogurts (it can work in some savory applications, like a tzatziki on a kebab, but otherwise blecch), cottage cheese (no explanation needed), etc.

As a kid I didn't like any of the different foods on my plate to touch. But, now it's not a problem. I don't like anything piping hot (especially soup and pizza, the two most common foods I will burn my mouth on).

I thought this was odd until I was in germany and it is the preferred method for eating a sandwich. Just the bread, maybe some veggies, and meats. And it works there because the quality of the bread and the filling.

I remember buying a sandwich from a little stand in a subway station in Frankfurt. I wasn't expecting much, just was hungry enough that I had to eat something, but it was a tremendous sandwich. The bread was better than almost any sandwich I've ever had in the US.

My other main one is that I simply cannot eat a meal that does not contain some sort of meat product. I don't feel full, I don't feel happy, and generally I sneak out to McDonalds afterward.

In general, I agree about mixing meat and fruit. But, proscuiuto and figs are delicious.
