The NYTimes lists 32 drinks in their "most refreshing drinks" compilation linked below.
As for me I binge on a few different drinks in the summer --
I like Campari and Soda, Sangria, and Iced Tea myself

What's the right way to make the beverage?
Like a good golf swing, the Arnold Palmer is all about proper balance.
"Iced tea dominates the drink, and if it doesn't, it's not really right," Palmer says.

every recipe I find has 50/50, maybe 50% iced tea dominates the lemonade.
I see nowhere that says "at least 75%" but whatever I don't care. 99% of people use them synonymously.
You are looking up recipes for "half and half" drinks, that's why. That's not his drink. Arnold Palmer himself said that the drink is primarily iced tea. Watch the ESPN commercial. He fills his cup with iced tea, then lemonade, then more iced tea. Video proof it's not half and half.
I googled "How do you make an Arnold Palmer" nothing to do with half & half.

Use store-bought lemonade and iced tea. If you'd like to make a big pitcher of Arnold Palmer, fill a large pitcher or drink dispenser halfway with the lemonade. Top off with the iced tea, and stir to combine.
the second link from allrecipes:

The Arnold Palmer
19 made it | 15 reviews
5 fluid ounces prepared lemonade
Newman's Own Lemonade Lightly Sweetened Virgin
2 For $4.00 - expires in 6 days
5 fluid ounces prepared iced tea
1 cup ice
they are used interchangeably. and I don't care anymore....
That's fine.
I'll go ahead and trust Arnold Palmer on how to make the drink he created. Not some bored housewife's variation of it on Allrecipes. If the video proof of Palmer making it himself doesn't sink in with you, i guess there's nothing more I can say. Enjoy your "Half and Half". My Arnold Palmer is delicious.
I've read where it is a 3 parts iced tea and 1 part lemonade and when done right they are refreshing and delicious.
