I remember he was in the days of the weekly paper that was put out by Dave Klein (yes - sore spot for many). He had a draft guy write for him - maybe it was Kiper I can't remember. This guy raved about Harell. "The flea can return punts and take it all the way. 3rd and 7? The flea can catch a 2 yard pass and make the rest of the yards by himself. Try to press the Flea on the line of scrimmage, the flea will blow by the corner and take the top of the defense."

Always referred to him by the nickname and talked like he was the a super hero. It's over 20 years ago, but I'll always remember it.

It was his real name...and he was.

The story went that the Jets had Broadway Joe Namath, so the people wanted to have a nickname for Pisarcik. Since he sucked they named him after the worst, most beat up road they could think off back then.

At least the Giants have had a few decent QBs since. The Jets are still looking to fill Broadway Joe's shoes forty something years later!

By the way, does anyone know if they have a QB for this coming season?
