Just commented on the Kopech story. The 105 apparently came from one of the Red Sox players charting the game (his own manager noted this, ex-Red Joe Oliver) and not a scout. Scouts still had him 94-100.
Soxprospects is saying the same thing (in the form of a reporting of a John Manuel Q&A)
Love the bullpen!!! A big winning streak is coming our way!!! We will BUY at the deadline then run the table and take the East. Tanaka and Nasty Nate leading the way with cy young second halfs

running out of molinas? wasn't there like 5 or 6 catching molinas at one time? Kind of like baseballs Sutters but I don't think the Molinas were related.
One rival executive said that he is “100 percent” certain the Cubs will keep Kyle Schwarber, no matter how many times the Yankees ask for the slugger in a trade for Andrew Miller.
Schwarber is the Yankees’ principal target, according to ESPN, but the Cubs love Schwarber’s makeup and left-handed power, and think he could develop into one of the 10 best hitters in the game.

isn't the "100% certain the team X will keep player y" phrase code for "he's definitely going to be traded" around hot stove time?
RE: It's a two-man game in this league right now. Â

How do they measure the spin rate?
