Big Blue readers, I forgot about this Fighting Irish sack artist. If you read my "Five For Fighting" Series, please scroll down past the Ryan Malleck feature for my report on Okwara. Sorry about the omission, but I think he's at least a valid practice squad candidate as he readjusts to playing in the second level.
The link to the original story, with the Okwara addition can be found here;

OR, you can just go to his separate article here;

Thanks.
Occasionally, UDFA's become studs: RB Ivory, OC O'Hara, WR Cruz. I would not be shocked if a tweener UDFA made the active roster. It isn't like we are super deep depth talented.
I also would not be shocked if McAdoo cut veterans like LB Brinkley and LB Sheppard in the final round and kept a UDFA that he didn't want to expose to waivers. Nothing would shock me.
Also, since this is a UDFA thread, would anyone be surprised if FB / DL Whitlock made the team as a specialist pass rusher? Not me. He flashed last year in spots but was smaller. He has bulked up to 250 pounds now. Not sure if that cost him quickness.
My point is that I just hope these young, cheap guys pan out. If one or two become studs then we are blessed.
So he's lost 15-25 pounds since the Combine? Is he on the Leonard Floyd diet?
So Okwara can 'surprise" and show he has potential, well, that would be great.
Well, one of the things I'm here for is to expose the pinheads who can't spell my name correctly...like you.
Now, Giants.com has Okwara listed as 275. BBI has him listed as 265, which was his weight at the Combine. NFL.com has him listed as 258.
Where you got 240-250 is anybody's guess. Care to enlighten us?
