Grant actually has pretty good BBIQ. Now there are some Knicks fans who will say he was bad at everything last year, but that's a silly position. He needs to improve his shot and his physical strength. He's at least a 4th guard right now.

They're basing it off of the Summer League. It's hilarious. They already hate Grant and frankly, I don't mind.
part - wasn't that his strength coming out of school? I wouldn't take anything away from summer league. Bulls will have a completely different roster + strategy regular season

been a big time critic yet I didn't perceive any BBall iq issues. Shot was surprisingly poor, and oddly weak, underdeveloped but if anything he seemed like he knew how/what to do but was unable to.
I just think he was slow to react to things on the court, he would try and make a pass and just be a second to late with it, it almost looked like he was guessing kn the court rather than just going out and reacting and playinh..

Grant can still be a player. It's possible that he'd see a big improvement this year under Hornacek. But I'm happy with the moves of the summer overall.

The four year thing is a legit issue/concern. Definitely limits your upside. Remember he's only 3 years younger than Rose I think
Has potential to be a 3 and D guy. Bulls fans really like him and were upset that we swapped Grant for him.
I have no idea but asked this question a week or so ago. Someone said Shumpert with a better 3 point shot. I said I would definitely sign up for that.

Holiday is a pending UFA and will be 28 when his new deal starts (with us or elsewhere).
but then you have to give Holiday a new deal next summer whereas Grant was under a very cheap deal for 3-4 more seasons.
