and some people freaked out because they thought it looked bad recruiting him during the draft, and giving him some money, only to cut him loose so quickly.
Maybe it turns out he's not NFL caliber, few players who played at Liberty are. Perhaps the Giants should be commended for realizing his lack of talent quickly and cutting bait instead of keeping him around.
Cant wait until camp starts next week!!!
Well it does look a bit bad on the scouting department
They tab him a high priority UDFA and he doesn't last a week. Now he has been let go by 2 franchises. Can't even make it to camp. No other way to twist it other than that was poor scouting. Not a big deal in the grand scheme though.
That's not the only factor the Giants scouts were not the only ones who seemed to believe he had talent. He was not a draft pick and will not be the first player to jump from to team to team in his quest to play in the NFL. Logan Thomas was a draft pick who is with his third team once again scouts seem to believe he has talent but I'm sure by now he keeps his suitcase close at hand. Talent can get you noticed but the team, the chances given, the coaches, injury, the scheme and most important the players performance or lack there can send even a very talented player to the bus station. This is true not just in the NFL but every major professional sport and in some cases life.
