I think Bloomberg couldn't get eminent domain for the body shops. That's where you would put the Islanders (and Jets but Woody doesn't like going further than Manhattan).

barclays is much easier for me to get to, but I'm sure they would love to make it much easier for the fans coming from the island.
the BS about the players complaining about the logistics as far as getting to the rink is ridiculous. a lot of teams have similar travel with practice and game facilities.
by the new owners to get Barclays to spend some $$$ to put in some Islander friendly renovations. I'm not sure another arena in the NY area is economically feasible.
