obviously more about legacy than anything else at this point, and I was skeptical about how they could clear him now, and still don't get it all about how they could be certain.
yea it's his legacy at this point, but why put a black eye on one of it's own premier players?
Seriously? After suspending Tom Brady for a quarter of a season for what amounts to very little in the "integrity of the game" category you need to question the NFL and it's treatment of its stars.
This just smells like the NFL is covering this up.
And I feel bad for Eli. But the NFL just made a very bad mistake. Some investigative reporter is going to make a career out of investigating this.......it may take a while. This isn't over.
investigation. They asked Peyton about the stuff and he said it was for his wife. They talked to his wife and she said, yes, it was for her. Just to be absolutely sure they callled Archie and he confirmed.

I'm surprised Cooper hasn't taken the fall for this one.
And I agree with Dry Lightning. We have not heard the last of Peyton. It may be sooner than later if the NFL goes after the other four. You damn well know Harrison will take the whole ship down with him.

Very good point.
The truth always comes out, and if the NFL's investigation was lacking, the black eye will on them, not Peyton.

That was not by accident!
