Didnt he end up losing part of his ankle/foot through all the surgeries? Hopefully he banked some money and can be reasonably healthy in retirement

from MRSA that she got from a back surgery. PIC line and all... Vancomycin and all of that. 104 fevers, ICU.
It has been a horror story. My wife only had to have 1 other surgery to remove the abscess from her spine and clean everything out.
That super bug is no joke. I can't even imagine how bad he had it.
