The NFL's ops don't seem to be the '5 minutes early to work' type.

All games will start five minutes earlier than their listed time under new NFL football operations director Tom Coughlin.

Good move for TC, potentially a great move for the league.

For everyone that believes the NFL has gotten too far away from what football is supposed to be about, TC could bring a new focus back onto the fundamentals of the game....provided the league will listen.

Maybe less emphasis on touchy PI calls, and Illegal contact penalties away from the play and more focus on player development, blocking, tackling, and game flow.
good for Tom

I'm sure he can retire comfortably but mah jong and hot yoga classes aren't his style :)
Word is some new NFL practice rules are going in effect
Giantology : 7/27/2016 5:03 pm : link
No electronic devices inside the facility.
All facility clocks set back 5 minutes.
No music to be played during practice.
Good for him
mfsd : 7/27/2016 5:23 pm : link
And good for the Giants that he has somewhere to go besides hanging around the Giants offices and gym
Good for him. Great role for him.

As mentioned above, hopefully he can keep the NFL in check somewhat.
Phew! It felt like I never retired around here this off season.
