Interesting, would seem to make sense. I think the Jets are kidding themselves if they think Gino Smith can carry them to the playoffs. That kids sucks. Fitzpatrick has the leverage even if Foles is signed.
If the Jets did sign Foles

it would likely signal the end of their pursuit of Fitpatrick. They already have 2nd round pick Hackenberg plys Geno Smith and last years 4th round pick Bryce Petty. Unless they wanted to keep 4 QB's I don't see how they could fit both Foles and Fitz.
Remember when Raanan

ran that column a couple years ago saying he would take Foles over Eli..?

San Francisco would

make sense too.
Another QB

Flash in the pan from a long list of QB's who was the real deal, and not some lucky QB with two Super Bowl rings!! Lol! He was the belle of the NFC East for about 15 mins. Don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!
The Jets will sign him
johnnyb : 7/27/2016 5:20 pm : link
and essentially break ties with Fitzpatrick. That is my opinion- nothing more.

Would want to play for Chip? He did trade him.

I imagine Reid (who drafted Foles in the first place) will pursue him as a backup to Alex Smith now that Chase Daniel went to Philly.

Denver could be a possibility too.

Yes, both your answers are better then him going to San Fran.
He has been released

Gut feeling says Foles

has many more years of NFL paychecks. Not a great career, but one that thousands of players would envy.
Well the Jets signed Fitz

Who is left out there that is still unsettled at QB?

As has been posted, maybe KC is a nice landing spot for him with Reid. It makes a lot of sense.

Denver could be interested if they like him more than Sanchez. However, I keep hearing rumblings that Denver likes the guy they drafted last year but I don't know his name.

What about Dallas?

KC does make a lot of sense. Denver just got a young QB, so that may be less appealing to him. Anywhere else you think he has an opportunity to earn consideration this season as the long term QB other than KC. No high pick or established vet with a few seasons left. It is possible for him to beat out Smith and I don't remember KC having a QB behind him that they have plans around.
